I'm fine!!
Thanks for your concern, everyone!! I am fine, my bf is fine. It seems like most of my friends are fine, though I am still waiting to hear from a few. It was really scary, but where I am there isn't much damage. My heart goes out to all of the people up in Sendai and nearer to the epicenter. Here in Tokyo it was somewhere between a 5-6 for most of the quakes so far.

....No way. This was the 5th strongest quake in recorded history?!!!! Phones are still down. I wish there was something that I could do to help people in Sendai. Do they need volunteers?

My tweet from just after the first shaking slowed down (it didn't stop!): "HOLY SHIT HOLY SHOT HOLY SHIT!!!!!"

I'm so glad to hear that you're fine and I hope that ppl in Sendai will be fine too! ;_; This was really a terrible news!

Glad to hear you're fine! And Mako, too! :)
I didn't feel anything here. No Tsunami possible either. However, I still need to hear back from a few friends in Yokohama, so worried ;___;
I'm worried about a atomic power plant that seems to get a leak soon T___T

What is Tokyo like right now? My best friend's father is there and we've been hearing about fires and stuff, but all reports seem to be contradicting each other.

Glad you're safe!

According to the news, most or all of the trains aren't running in Tokyo and may not run all night, so people seem to be stuck everywhere. I was at home when it happened, so I didn't get stuck, luckily.

There were some falling parts of buildings and in Yokohama a bowling alley's roof collapsed. There is also a HUGE fire in Chiba. According to the news, two people died when a signal light fell on them. Otherwise it seems to be alright. In my area most of the businesses closed, but people seem to be alright for the most part.

oh thank god you're OK!!
did you get any news from Eva and Lindsay?
do you know if they're alright?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 11th, 2011 11:08 am (UTC)
Lindsay is fine, but she seems to be stuck in the city at the moment.
I'm not sure who you mean by Eva. If you mean Eda, then she's fine. She is in Korea right now, and checked in as well.

Glad you're ok! Things got a little scary here, and there are still plenty of aftershocks, but so far everyone I know is well, which is a small relief, at least.

That's good. One of my friend's husband is in Japan working in a manufacturing firm and she's really worried though he managed to tell her he was fine. The news footage is really scary.

And I wonder if my sister-in-law's sister is doing ok or if she's even in Japan in the first place.

Glad to hear you're safe. I've been lucky enough to get in contact with all of my friends over there and they're all fine too, most with electricity and everything. Heck one of them went to his model photoshoot. XD
