Kimono.................
Yesterday, I got to wear a kimono!! It was my first time, and veryveryvery luckily the store that dressed me had one long enough for me! They only had one, lol. It was for work, but I can't say what yet. In a few months, I will! =^^=

Well, this has been a long week, what with a 16-hour day shooting in the freezing cold along the harbor for Pop'n Press (it snowed the day before, but I had to wear a thin spring jacket.. I was dying in the cold!!), trying to get my tax return done (a headache in Japanese), trying to figure out my health insurance bills, and various other things. But I spent some time with the bf in between it all, and today the weather is nice and sunny, so I feel good! =^^= It's Friday now, so after I do my morning workout (jumping rope ftw) and take a shower/get ready, I'm going to head down to the city ward office to see if they can help me with the health insurance. ^^;;; Fuuuuuuun (not)! But if I don't do it now, I will fret over it endlessly. But before that.. meme!

Day 01: 10 things about you
Day 02: 10 things you love

Day 03: 10 things you hate
Day 04: 10 things you want to say to one person
Day 05: 10 wishes
Day 06: 10 items you can’t live without
Day 07: 10 important people
Day 08: 10 of your favorite songs
Day 09: 10 ways to win your heart
Day 10: Final 10 words.

10 things I hate............................. Way to be positive, there! Well, at least the first two are easy!

1. Cigarette smoke (this is definitely my number one!) Other illegal drugs too, of course. I want those kind of drugs to go away. Humans can be better than that. We don't need to do those things to feel better! (This is my opinion, at least!)

2. Trains. Specifically public transportation trains in Japan. (Where is the dislike button? I imagine the skinkansen is alright though. I've never ridden on it, but the Narita express and Niko express were wonderful! For those though, you automatically get a seat and they are not crowded. You can buy snacks, too! :D :D :D Plus, they are special trains so it means that you're either going to somewhere exciting while riding them, or coming back from something exciting! Yay :D)

3. Dishonesty (especially in relationships/friendships. Little white lies etc, I understand, but don't be dishonest about the important things! Dishonesty by omission counts too. Communication is key, especially with longtime friends and lovers!)

4. Having to walk in a crowd. Crowds can be a good thing (lots of people gathering because they all like something = yay!), but having to walk in one is no fun!

5. Crying babies in public. You have to go out with them, I understand. You can't control them, I understand. But that doesn't mean that I can't hate it! Especially on trains, airplanes, hotels or at amusement parks, I really, really hate the sound of a crying baby! For some reason in a grocery store or a park or something it doesn't really bother me. (crowding the aisle with a stroller on the other hand..) In all likelyhood you'll never know that I hate your crying baby, but I definitely definitely do!

6. VINEGAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the smell makes me nauseous!! Some people have called me picky, which is kind of offensive. I'll try almost anything and I like a huge variety of foods! There is only one thing that I absolutely cannot stand, which is vinegar. It sucks that it is the main ingredient in mayonnaise, salad dressing, pickles, hot sauce, etc, but I can't help it. x.x That's not picky at all! It's one ingredient out of millions. x.x

7. Unfairness. Yeah yeah, I know life is not fair. I get it. I understand that it sucks that Paris Hilton has all that money and others who are nicer people are born with nothing. But someone in her family worked hard for that money and of course they will want to pass it on to their family. Fine, I can accept that just fine (and doubtless I will feel the same way if I ever come into a lot of money. I would want to pass it on to my kids/loved ones). But when it's possible things should be decided fairly. For example, I tried to help out a friend the other day get tickets to a concert. When they went on sale, so many people accessed the wabsite that no matter how many times I refreshed it, the site would not load. So I couldn't get any tickets for her. In that kind of system, it is random luck that gets tickets out to people. Whomever happened to refresh at just the right instant. That isn't fair, and I don't like it. It actually makes me really mad! Instead, put people into a numbered queue, so that they can get tickets orderly. If you weren't in te first however many people, then tough luck. This way, the people who waited longest will get theirs and the people who were more casual probably won't. But it's fair and makes more sense. There are plenty of other ways to do it fairly, but this one is just the one that came to mind first. I know there are a lot of things (like jobs, love, etc) that come down to luck and chance in the end, but I'm just saying that when it's possible, operate things so that everyone has the same chance, and those who are most willing to go the extra mile will end up with the product or whatever it was that they wanted.

8. When I misunderstand/don't understand something in Japanese. A personal hate. I know that I've learned a lot, but for all that trying, studying, scraping, I still have a long, long way to go and this reminds me of it. I come across this almost every day.. The only remedy is study study study! x.x I will continue to do so.

9. Wasting time/procrastinating. This is unfortunately something that I do a lot, that I need to remedy. Trying!!

10. When people tell me that I don't need to lose weight/shape up/etc. I have a goal too and I am frustrated when things don't go my way, just like everyone else. Just because I am relatively skinny, it doesn't mean that my feelings are less valid than anyone else's or that it isn't as frustrating. I really try not to mention it because friends don't generally like it, but it's on my mind pretty much constantly, so it's hard not to.

Trying to get in the non-negative spirit and that didn't help, lol! The next part of the meme is a lot better. =^^=

Random note: I am trying to save up enough for a new little digital camera. I miss posting lots of pictures on here!!

The footage they're showing from Sendai is just terrible. I can only imagine the casualties from this are going to be high. So awful!
