Day 08 - Are you..
What do you think of my new hat? XD Does it suit me? XDXD It cost exactly 100 yen (About $1). You've gotta love ¥100 shops :) Life in Japan would be a lot more expensive without them. :) Maybe I'll make a post about one sometime? Does anyone care? ^^

Today, I'm not sure what to do. I'm debating on either working on things or relaxing for once. But I was busy with M yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to do that much. I'd really like to draw.. but I also need to get a new screen cover for my iPhone (stuff gets under them so easily! x.x) I guess that I'll compromise and do.. both? m.m

Day 08 - Are you a Herbivore or Carnivore? S or M?

Ahahahaa.. To be honest, I don't have that much to say about this one, because I'm not really interested in it. This is kind of a trend thing in the media in Japan recently. Basically a herbivore guy is a sensitive, gentle type, whereas a carnivore is the more aggressive, go-getter type.. I'm not a guy, but I probably fall somewhere in the middle. I feel like the real me is pretty gentle, but I also have a bit of a wild, go-getter streak, if that makes sense? I would link to an article about it, but I couldn't really find one that was very good. If you know of one online, link it in a comment? ^^

The same goes for S/M. It's not really a bedroom question, but more of a lifestyle question. And again, I fall smack dab in the middle. XD Sorry, my answers are really boring this time around! Tomorrow's will be better, I promise! I'll try and see if I can get some pictures =D... It might make a good mission tomorrow! =D

I do have a few OTHER pictures, though!

It is mine and Mako's 6-month anniversary today! This is actually a big deal for me, as I almost never reach that long with a relationship. Whatever the varied reasons, it just doesn't work out. In fact, only once did it last past the half-year mark, and that was in college. ^^; I'm so grateful that I found someone whom I love so much!! =^-^= And it (seems to be) mutual. ^^

I wish that I could post a picture of us together, but he doesn't like his pictures being online. Privacy and all of that. ^^; That's okay, because I can understand. ^^ I just happen to have blogging OCD and post all sorts of things that I probably shouldn't, lol.

So, pictures!! We went to a restaurant (picked by randomly driving around) that turned out to not only be cheap (yay!) but amazing (double yay)!!!

This one: http://www.saint-marc-hd.com/saintmarc/

We had a course menu, and omg.. the bread alone. OMG THE BREAD ♥

I am not the biggest fan of bread, but I nearly died just eating their bread!

I really can't describe it. The smell alone was to die for, and the variety!!

See, with the course menu, you got all-you-can-eat bread, which consisted of tiny little individual breads, brought to your table in giant baskets by waiters, who would place your choices on your plate. And they came every 5 minutes or so. :)

My mouth is watering just remembering it! ♥

Me with part of my dinner

First course was your choice of soup

And appetizers.. I had um, this! I don't remember what it was called, but it was yummy! Fish and mashed potatoes and bacon-ish bacon. ^^

M's main course was squid

And he also had... this =D

Oops, I forgot to take pictures of some things! XD There was a LOT of food. :D

Here is my dessert (totally didn't need it after all of that food! But it was delicious!)

Mako's dessert

And here is to the next 6 months!(and forever)! I looooooooooooooove Makooooooo. *^-^*

Seems like you two had a great anniversary dinner! Yay! ^__^ And bread is always one of my favorite parts of a celebratory meal, as long as it's good bread. ^_^

Make it so.

It's too bad we live on opposite ends of the Earth now. My friend and I are watching Star Trek. All of it. I'm also dressing up as Captain James T. Kirk for Holloween, my friends are doing Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Nurse Chapel, and we're trying to get another pair to do Chekov and Yeoman Rand.

Congrats on the anniversary!..and I would totally love to see a post about dollar stores in Japan XD
Jjstar9 on October 1st, 2010 11:42 pm (UTC)
Pumpkin! You just reminded me that I have to go out and buy some pumpkin bags - have to fill 'em up with freshly fallen leaves.

Dollar stores are fun. I like buying miniature items of various things like cups, brightly colored containers, and bottled detergent (yeah, weird, I know =P)

LOL!@Picard... classic. Look! Nekkid Picard! *faceplant*

Congrats on the anni! ^___^

the hat is supercute. i like that it's quirk rather than dorky.

congrats on your anniversary...that restaurant looks like a great find.

and, an entry on 100 yen shops would be great! i especially enjoy when you write about "daily" life in japan. 100 yen shops seem like a planet away from 99 cents stores in the u.s.

Chiakichiaki777 on October 4th, 2010 06:37 am (UTC)
oh snap that looks pretty tasty actually.

And yeah, the whole herbivore thing is really annoying. This is perhaps one of the things I really can't stand about Japan, and how everything they do has to be a sort of a "boom"
