☆DL7, Shin Tenipuri, and New Beginnings☆
Me and my (former) coworkers..

Former.. it still feels a little bit weird to say that. I didn't tell many people, but I quit working for Konomi-sensei at the end of January! Really, there were a few factors, but the main thing is that I felt that it was time to move on, and work on my own manga! I want to debut so badly and have millions of people around the world love my work too =^-^= I discussed it with Sensei before I quit, and as he really wants to see me move on to having my own name in print too, he let me go. It was hard on me emotionally, though, since he is like family to me. So were my coworkers too. <3

I still talk to them on occasion, and I was regaled with tales of how hard it's been since I left (lol.. oh man, sorry guys! I feel really guilty about that..) a few weeks ago. But I am really glad, and I feel like I'm finally ready to take the next step!!

So, Sensei insisted on having a going-away party for me, but because they've been so busy, it was put off until Dream Live!! LOL, it must be the latest going-away party ever?? Four months late... but it was a really, really good day.. More,Collapse )

So, here is to the future!!!!!!!! Hashiteikimasu!!

For all these years I've been watching you I think I never got quite this feeling... I always was excited for you but I can't quite explain this. I know it will happen, your dreams will come true!
Totally and completely 応援しています!!

Wow, what an adventure, I wish you the best of luck with your own manga! :) I always enjoy reading your blog about creating manga over in Japan. Now here's a question-is he looking for a replacement?? Lol!
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on June 8th, 2010 03:31 am (UTC)
Ooh yes, definitely! If you're truly interested, you should check out the JUMP SQ homepage, and there is a page for artists seeking assistants. Sensei lists his requirements on there-- they're the same requirements that I had when I applied. If you really want to do it, go and take a look and maybe send something in! ^^

Gambatte ne, Jamie-san!

But wow, you are really, really tall. *was impressed* You got to meet Shirota Yuu?! OoO! Waaah, I hope you had fun!

I will cheer for you from Australia, I hope you make your dreams come true! Are you going to write your manga in Japanese or English? Either way, I hope it makes its way to America~ (and then Australia!)

^o^ Give it your best shot! -and then some!

I met him three or four times before he was famous, too ^^ Naturally he doesn't remember me at all =D which is fine with me!!

Hey! I don't know if you would remember me, but my name is Lauren. We met and got ice cream about a month ago in Ikebukuro. Anyway, it's great to see that life is treating you well (albeit being a little bittersweet). Good luck with developing your manga! I look foward to following your progress. :)

I was wondering about that, since you hadn't mentioned being in the studio for a while on Twitter, and then in the recent ShinTenipuri chapters... ahaha, well, I'm really glad you found the motivation to move on and aim even higher, but Sensei might still consider asking you to come in every once in a while to look over the English |DDDDD

I can only imagine how much experience you gained from working on ShinTeni, and I'm sure it'll serve you well~ I'll look forward to your debut!

I might not comment very much, but every one of your entries motivates me to do my best, so thank you so much! I'll work hard for my dreams as well! ^_____^

Best of luck for you in both your profession and your personal lives! One question for you: how does your Visa work now? Sadly before I even finished reading your blog that was running around in my head! I, also, can't wait until your debut, no matter the language.
