I hate to give up, but I am giving up on the post-every-day-for-30-days thing. ^^; I just can't keep it up on days when I get busy, and I start to feel pressured. Goodness knows I don't need any more pressure. XD;;

But, I have been managing to get out and to do work. So it's a decent balance. Now if I could only do LOTS of work, it would be perfect =D

I went to see Greg's art show last Friday (with a conveniently free drag show. My first, yay!), and then to see the sakura last Saturday with a bunch of friends, and then had Easter dinner at Adele's (blodeudd) on Sunday with even more friends! Yay!! It was so much fun! I really love dinner parties at Adele's. I always eat too much, but at least it's a good journey. <3 I went to have coffee with an old friend on Tuesday whom I haven't seen for years, and then yesterday I had a fun time with a new friend. Sometimes I wish that I could just play all day without any guilt! But there is always work, even when it is fun work.

Oh, I want to share this: http://www.magical-shop.net/e1023.html
Shinnosuke, whom is an artist that I met at the mangaka party a few weeks ago, drew a picture of me. There is a panty shot, but I think that it's rather cute in it's own way =D

I had better get going.. going to get out and get some exercise while it is nice and sunny, then return and work for most of the rest of the night, I think ^^ Ciao. I have a HUGE urge to finish Denkiki.

That drawing is really cute :) The picture of you above the drawing is really pretty too :)

I don't comment enough on your journal, but I am fascinated by Japan and its culture. I think it's too cool that you're living there ^_^

Dear Jamie,

Hi, my name is Stephanie. I'm also an American living in Tokyo. I currently have a job here, but I was wondering if you could give me some advice on getting work as a manga artist's assistant? I'm willing to work for free and do whatever needs help.

I've never worked with screentones before, but I have been to comic book school in the US, so... I know a little about inking and stuff like that. I have assisted Mary and David of limemanga (http://limemanga.livejournal.com/), albeit for a very short time... that was about four years ago. I hope they remember me!

And, although I haven't worked with screentones or anything, I'm willing to learn.

Thank you so much for reading all this,
