A month plus in pictures!!
For the last few months, I've been really bad about posting... sorry about that! The truth is, next month there are three chapters of Shin Tenipuri coming out, which means that we have to draw 50% more than usual. So we've been REALLY busy. I basically have had no free time, and the little time that I have had was spent working on VISA stuff, seeing friends that were visiting, and more work. There's the usual filming, plus my articles for Asahi Weekly (which take planning). So I've only had 4 days off this month, and I had to work on other things.. so really... no time off?

Well, yesterday and today not counted... I've been having a blast unwinding, which I really needed to do, but I'm ready to get back to work! Work in this case meaning the prints... I have to run some errands tomorrow, and in the evening have to head back to the studio for another week or so to finish the final of the three chapters (they're really good so far btw!). After that, I am pretty busy but I will definitely finish the prints that I promised way back! It will be awesome, and I'll post more about them next weekend after I'm out of the studio!

For now, more pictures of randomness!

First off, a few weeks ago I rushed out of the studio one night to just barely make Ale's birthday party! It was pure coincidence that we got out on the same day as the parrty, but it was a good thing for sure!!

Me, Ale, Aloni, and Michele

More of us ^^

On another day (the day before my birthday actually, so this is actually a little out of order), I went to a private party by Danny Choo to celebrate his first figure event in Omote-sando.

His website's mascot:

Danny (lol, he is that guy who dances in the Stormtrooper suit on those viral videos).. I had no idea that he was the son of Jimmy Choo, the famous shoe maker, though! He is a friend of some friends. I don't know him well but he seems alright. His website is great, check it out! http://dannychoo.com

For my Pop'n Press filming at the end of July I got to draw on omurice! =D Here is my picture!

And for my Asahi Weekly article, I took a rickshaw ride with my friend Adrian! It was really, really awesome!!!!! I don't want to spoil the article, but let's just say that I recommend it highly to anyone to ever come to Japan!!! They're in Asakusa, easy to find, and totally worth the price!

Also went out with Trisha and her friend Ari who was visiting from CA at one point ^^

more to come!!

Awesome! I was just in Asakusa yesterday and saw all of the rickshaws! I'll have to take a ride on them next time. =3

Guess those prints you were going to make for people who donated so you could have a website are a no go.

Maybe you should refund the money since you dumped the website? I'm just saying it would be the right thing to do.

What are you talking about? I said specifically in my post that I'm working on them, but because of having to work so much they're not ready yet.

If you have questions or are unhappy, I think you should talk to me privately about it and please read the posts first. I've updated on them many times actually, recently!

Huh? You write about being busy and not having time to post, there is nothing in your post about your blog that hasn't happened or prints.

I understand being busy, that is why I suggested you might do refunds that way you are no longer obligated to do prints and it doesn't look bad that you took money for a blog.

I have no way to talk to you privately, and also there may be other people who feel the same way yet have not said so. I don't think I was being rude or anything commenting here. You asked for donations on your LJ...so it made sense to ask about it on your LJ.

I have read your posts, it appears you aren't going to have time to get stuff done. That's why I made the suggestion. And you stated in this post you haven't had time to even post, so saying you have updated many times recently contradicts that.

I'm not trying to cause problems or anything, I was just asking about it and making a suggestion.

My email address is the same that I used for paypal. I've always assumed in the past (and it's mostly been this way) that if anyone has any concerns or questions, they would use that address to contact me.

In this post I talked about the status and my plans for the prints, which is why I'm surprised that you commented thinking the exact opposite of what I wrote. To repeat, basically I have had no time because of work. When I talk about work in the manga studio, for those times I stay in the studio and don't return home. We wake up, draw themanga, and go to bed, then repeat until we are finished unless sensei takes us out. There is about 1 hour of personal time at the end of the day sometimes, but it's not enough towork on something like that. Last month we drew the manga for Sensei's CD, and this month we had to do three chapters. So I've had basically no time off.In two months I have only been home for maybe 6 days total, and during that time I had to do filming and my article. Except for thelast two days when I tried to relax for once. But starting next week I have a two week vacation from the manga so I am planning to finish the prints then. In the meantime, I have been preparing a post for next weekend with more details (like how many there will be, what the final price will be -the preorders got them at a discount- what they will be, etc). If you want to cancel your order that's fine, just email me at my paypal address to let me know. Or if you are okay with waiting for next week's update, then that's fine too, and you can decide then. Either way just let me know.

Actually, as for posting so many times. Those are months and months of photographs and I sat down instead of sleeping and posted them all at once (it was about 4amwhen I finished). Lately I haven't had time to post so I decided to get it all done at once so that is one less thing to catch up on.
