Pop'n Press~~~~♪♪
On Tuesday, we went and filmed for Asahi Pop'n Press! It was really really fun! We went to the Canadian Embassy, and I met some great, nice people!! Honestly, out of all of the embassies that I've visited so far, this one was my favorite. Anybody can just walk in, and they have a library!!!! Even I can come in and use the library for free if I like!! Now if only it wasn't in such an inconvenient place (I have to switch train lines three times), I would go there all the time!

I really want to go to Canada now. =D Just to visit!

Afterwards, I learned what the difference is between a professional cook and an amateur. Wow.. The gap is HUGE!! I made a dish and so did Chef, and... erk. Whoaa. I definitely have a huge respect for chefs who know their thing!

I am getting a lot more used to acting. At least acting the way that it's done in Japan. Think I am ready for my Star Trek debut? =D =D =D In any case, I really like it. I am working really hard on it, and am really glad that I was pulled into it! It's so much fun!!! ♥

Ah, Canada is great! I'm not Canadian but lately taking lots vacations there. Mostly more small towns though. People always laughing at where I take vacation :P Last time I went to Hearst, ON which is Francophone and it was neat hearing all the French. (And seeing it snow on May 19.)

Some small thing I notice, just looking at street signs - they have a "walking" guy for the "okay to walk" pedestrian sign, as the US has too, but it looks different. Turns out, the Canadian walking guy is looking up, he looks happy! while the US one is looking more down, staid and just "must get there" or boring. I wish I had a picture of one. The Canadian pedestrian signs are in a circle bulb like the car signals too.

Ironically today (or well, I guess it was yesterday now lol) is/was Canada Day ♥ lol

You're so lucky to get to be an actress~ Even if it's just a little lol. It's a little like a secret dream of mine *o*

Why don't you become one, instead of letting it just remain a dream?

Unfortunately, that's not really an option at this time in my life. Right now I'm chasing after some other dreams, but who knows? Maybe someday my path will lead to an opportunity like that ♥

&&thank you for always being an inspiration ♥ :)

It was Canada day today!!

If you ever come we'll have to go to some great restaurants and hit the town. (Toronto area!)

It's a deal! Though it will be a while before I'm ever able to make it to Canada....

Canada is beautiful!
I love Canada! (of course I'm biased - I'm a Canadian after all).

Check out some pictures from our vacation in Okanagan, British Columbia (West coast, 4 hours away from Vancouver.) Come visit us one day! :D

Canadians are AWESOME. I've got a fair amount of Canadian friends and they are delightful.
I hope you act enough that you get into a big drama where you appear for 10 minutes in one episode so I can watch it.

I hope so too!!

Canada is great! That's where I'm from!

I'm from the west, home of awesome steak and cowboy hats. You should come visit sometime. =)

XD I'm glad the Canadians are living up to their reputation, even at the embassy here! I'm going to have to check out the embassy, I need to get my hands on some Canadian books.

Mmmm pro chefs make some really fine foods after all. I can only imagine. ^^

Oh Canada, land of free health care, now they're doing books too I see.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 3rd, 2009 04:09 am (UTC)
Haha, don't most countries have libraries?
Chiakichiaki777 on July 3rd, 2009 04:20 am (UTC)

I love being Canadian! (I'm in Nova Scotia) Thank God I live in a country where a woman such as myself was able to legally marry my female partner last January. :)

That sounds fun. Good luck with the acting :)

oh random question, what happened to your right arm in the pic?

And you're so lucky you get to set foot in Japanese manga industry and entertainment industry! Maybe you should write a manga about it, like Bakuman. Actually, many shoujo manga has heroine in the entertainment industry, think Skip Beat! And well, if you wanna it in JUMP, just shounenize it (I don't really know what that mean...XD)
