I got a new twitter!! ^-^
http://twitter.com/denkiki

It sucks that my old one was suspended, but there's nothing that I can do about it... I don't know why, andd nobody from twitter has responded to my questions or requests. Oh well, it wasn't that old, anyways!

Can anyone tell me how to do that thing where it automatically posts all of my twitter updates to my lj once a day?

Resist the urge... Resist!!

Personally I don't see what the big draw of sharing a bunch of one-liners are. Maybe you could tell me?

LOL I just like writing random stuff when I'm not home in it.. Whatever comes into my head. I want my lj to be mroe put-together, but any random stuff can go into twitter.

But, I understand that.. but what is the need for sharing all the one-liners in a daily post? Its not like 99% of them will make sense to anyone who reads them all at the end of the day.... *shrug* I guess I just don't understand...

Ah, it's mainly because it's likely that my twitter account would get suspended again, so I want to have a separate permanent record of them.

Okay. That's a good reason. I could see that. It makes sense.

But most people don't have that reason... And I just don't know why they do it...

The reason I post my twitters to my LJ is that I don't always have the time to make a long involved LJ post, but I want to keep people informed of what's going on in my life. It's easier to post a little bitty something that can be expanded on if people comment, than to try to make time for something more insightful and fail.

If that makes sense at all?

I do it for this reasons and not everyone follows me or has their own twitter, but likes knowing what I post on there (especially in the event I haven't had time to write an entry in a few weeks).

Okay. That makes sense too. But about for people who always do full on posts AND have the twitter feeds... I have never seen anyone comment on any of their twitter updates.

Tweets are text snapshots of a moment in one's life. Most of the time, one-liners are enough to describe an event or emotion when it occurs. And — much like pictures — if an event warrants it, one may provide a caption/explanation through another medium.

That's my take on it, at least. ^^v
