Just musing about the world..

Looking out over the city from Tokyo City View on the top of the Mori Tower while filming the other day, I felt both the urge to jump off of the building, spread my arms and fly to the nearby Tokyo Tower on the breeze, and to sidle up to the edge and dangle my feet, letting the cool wind trigger thoughts that I have been putting off for ages.

Above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you, because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.
—Roald Dahl

Of course, I wasn't able to do either.. at least not at this time. I wish that I was able to do run and jump and fly by just spreading my arms like wings, but I haven't got the skills for that. Not right now, at least. One day, I'd like to be able to do that, though. Even if I don't know how to get there right now, I feel like one day, if I try hard enough, I'll be able to.

I felt like I could see all the way to Korea, Thailand, and China, and all of my friends over there. If I could see farther, would I be able to see the future? I'm waxing poetic and this probably won't make any sense, but I'd like to make the most of my life. Make the most of every day. Right now, it's sometimes hard to do that, especially because of my own personal feelings toward other people and things, private things that I have to learn how to manage in order to be happy. But I'll find my legs and end up not just standing, but running and then finally flying. One day. ♥

"Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities." - Dr Seuss

I don't know why, but this post reminded me of that quote. (and I'm not stalking you today, really ... ;))

More than anything, I think you have the right attitude. Never lose the faith or drive to achieve what you want to achieve. Lots of us believe in you!

My first reaction was Don't Jump! LOL there's something refreshing about standing high and look down the world (that sounds weird...) around you.

I suppose flight (without airplanes) is still something we can't do freely as humans and that's why it's so mythical, like angels.

Jet packs, where are you?! It's nearly 2010, that's a good year for jet packs to become affordable to the public, isn't it? It sounds futuristic.

everything will fall into place, patience always gets you there and yes,you will fly..yay!
take care,

I always wanted to sprout wings and fly away. :) It sounds fun, plus you get to see a lot of things and places...and meet lots of different people!! :)

What a lovely post ^^ I've always found your journal to be so inspiring though I rarely ever comment (admittedly, this is because I feel somewhat intimidated, which tends to happen with people I think are awesome. I'm just a terrible commenter... xD;) ...but yes, you have the kind of attitude and energy that moves and inspires people. ^__^
