Last Saturday after watching Sensei's stage at JUMP Festa, I was seized with the intense desire to go to Shitenhouji myu. ^^;; Well, actually of course I already wanted to see it, but finally I had time off and was really fired up for it! So I got tickets from our editor and went with one of my coworkers that night! (job perks = awesome =D) It was so much fun, especially because it was her first time seeing one of the musicals, and we had pretty good seats! =^__^=
♪♪大阪なにわ四・天・宝・ほ・ほ・寺♪♪ I've had the catch phrase in Shitenhouji's theme song running through my head for days, lol.
Overall, I thought that it wasn't anywhere near the drama of Imperial Match Hyoutei myu, but as S-chan pointed out, this part of the manga is really silly too, so it more or less stayed true to the source material. To my utter surprise, I fell completely in love with Shiraiishi! Ooooooh Shiraiishi, I luuuuuuv you～<3
I was in an aisle seat, and I had to lean over onto S-chan to avoid getting clobbered by Ryoma's racket during one of the songs. It was dangerously close!! But it seems that I faired better than a friend, who got actually hit (not by Ryoma) tonight. ToT I wonder how many times this has happened during this run. ^^;;
Altogether, a really hilarious musical, and seriously the gay pair was hamming it up! I myself can't WAIT for the next myu. I really hope that they include the Yakiniku no Oujisama arc in it, because it's just GOLD! ♥ Only my favorite myu boys (the ones that I am closest to) won't be in it, to my knowledge. Sadness. ToT But what can you do? Surely they will return in the future! I'll support all of the lovely musical boys, in any case (except for someone whom I cannot name but will express my dislike for here, cryptically.. x.x;;)
Next... I can't decide if I should post about gyoza, or cosplay.. Or, uh, Christmas.. XD;;
