What 'bout my star?? What 'bout my staaaar♪♪

This is going to have to be a summary of life recently, I guess... But it's picking up! Somehow when I have the least free time and the least money, everyone wants to hang out and do expensive things. I want to laugh.... make me popular all of the time, not just at the end of July 2008, lol! I really can't wait for August, though!! Next weekend (and pretty much all weekends in August) are jam-packed! I have a work party on Friday night which should be fun(!), my birthday party and fireworks festival on Saturday (more on that later!), and Wonderfest on Sunday! It will be my first Wondercon (a figure event!! =D), I'm so excited! I'm thinking about making it the subject for my next column, but not so sure... I definitely would have made it the concert last weekend, had I been able to go...

So, the weekend before last, I met up with Hwen and her boi, and we headed to the Chocolate Cafe... again, there is NOTHING in Tokyo that beats the Chocolate cafe, hands down! I want to go again soon.... ;o; I I have discovered what is simply the most delicious frozen dessert on the planet, and it is only here! It's called "frozen chocolate", and it's somewhat like a cross between ice cream and chocolate mousse.... only denser and smoother and SO rich, I thought I would die from the chocolate LOVE!! ♥

Next, we headed over to Akihabara so that they could do some shopping. I found the CUTEST Pretty Cure 5 gashapons EVER!!! I got Cure Dream and Cure Aqua, as well as Syrup... I just really want Lemonade to go with Nozomi, but I might as well get the whole set when I can find them in the resell shops!

We finished the day by meeting Adrian and hitting up Queen Dolce for the special Macross Frontier event!! ^^ Basically, if you buy three of the Macross-themed drinks, you get a free glass or fan (your choice). The glass is really pretty!! But after I realized the drinks were $10 each, I didn't get a glass of my own. ^^;; I did however, get a million drinks between Sunday and Thursday, which were paid for by Adrian's friends overseas who wanted the glasses. I first, of course, drank and Sheryl and a Ranka. ^.~ By the end, I tried one of everything, though. ^.^ (But how can you not celebrate after a little bit of SherylxRanka?? ^^)

On Friday night, I met up with Nana, her coworker Kenji, and Mr.X (lol). Aaaaaaah it was so nice to see Nana again!! I never get the chance to hang out with her, and she's so easy to talk to, and so energetic. I love my little Nana.. ^^ And Kenji is a really great guy, whom I think will turn out to be a good friend. He kind of has my sense of humor, so to speak, which is really refreshing. :3 They might introduce me to the same agency as Bobby and most of the other big-shot foreign stars... so I'm looking forward to that possibly happening this summer!! ♥ If I want to break into showbiz, that's the way to go for sure!! <3<3 LOL, my standards are set high now.. Eda has been encouraging me too on this, which is really helping. I must try!

Me and Hwen ^^

I believe that's an Alto drink? (non-alcoholic ^^)

Eda and I found this delicious new "hand-made" popsicles in Akihabara!! They're so delicious!!

Some random shots of Akihabara:

I love the face of the girl on the bottom right.. =D

The Ranka Lee drink!! ^^

LOL, I'm a dork.... ^^;; But they had that screenshot blown up and stuck on the wall!! Who could resist? XD

Adrian too =D

The cocktail menu, non-alcoholic version. I forgot to take a picture of the other side, sorry!! ^^;;

(smaller version of the screenshot I mentioned on the right XD)

The fan that I got for free from the waitresses. =D =D =D I put it on my wall but I can't decide which side I like better... Sheryl or Ranka?!?!

I'm trying to get ready for Comitia, but it's slow going... no idea if I'm going to make the deadline to get my comic in to the printers, but I'm going to try hard!!

There is so much to do, I'm relocated to writing at 11 pm! XD There is another big post to make before I catch up, too.. ^^ Maybe I can finish up tomorrow...? aheh... After the emails that I owe.. >.>;;

PS: Macross Frontier is eating my soul!! Hands-down, my favorite anime in YEARS!! ♥♥♥

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:16 am (UTC)
Oh yes, I highly recommend it!! It's one of my favorite places, I go there really often! (more often than I should, lol)

Your photos are always awesome!

I bet you will be able to break into showbusiness easily. I always thought you were tall and thin enough to be a model. :)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:17 am (UTC)
Awww, thank you!! ^^ I think that I've gained too much weight to be a model and am too out of shape, but I'm thinking about it... (and always working on the weight thing, lol) I can't wait to be on tv, though! I think that it will be one of the more interesting things that I could possibly do!!
Kira_Shadowkira_shadow on July 29th, 2008 02:53 pm (UTC)
uwah you know Hwen, too

(the world is small *trlalala*)

whenever I read your and eda's ljs I get 'far-sick' instead of 'home-sick'
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:17 am (UTC)
LOL yeah I know! It's like everyone knows everyone... the internet is getting smaller and smaller these days! XD
Chacolechaco on July 29th, 2008 02:57 pm (UTC)
Ahh Alto drink XDDD I want to drink that and Ranka ;_; I totally enjoying Macross Frontier!!

Good luck with the showbiz thing! ^____^ Ganbatte!!~ I think you can do it >:D!
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:19 am (UTC)
Go for it!! You should make your own versions! If you look closely at the menu, it tells what is in each one. ^^ Or you could invent your own! I'm thinking of doing that now... maybe eventually make a book of all of the recipes! XD

Thank you!

I love how you includes lots of pictures! And I love the pictures of you and your friend posing with the stars! Very cute!

And your talk of handmade popsicles and Chocolate Cafes make me crave sweets! XD
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:19 am (UTC)
Aww, thanks!! I like taking pictures, and it's always more interesting than just post of nothing, I think.. Of course, that makes updates take longer for me to make, lol. But I'm such a quick writer, it sort of makes up for itself. XD

The Chocolate Cafe does look very good. I'll have to go check it out. *_____*
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:20 am (UTC)
Definitely!!! I highly recommend it. I go there really often because they rotate out their sweets and flavors. ^^

Ahh, you make me want to go back to Japan so bad! I was just there not long ago and I saw a girl passing on the street that I thought may have been you, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't want to say anything (that, and I didn't want to call out your livejournal username!).

I was only there for ten days, which I guess is enough to go and love it and then miss it. Exactly what happened! I'd love to have the opportunity to live there as well, but that would never happen -- especially since I can't read/speak the language, haha.

Anyway, it looks like you had fun in Akihabara~ And those drinks look really good! Especially the Ranka one. The Alto one reminds me of koolaid.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:22 am (UTC)
Oooh, next time don't worry about calling out my lj name. It has been known to happen, even from RL friends, lol!

When I came to Japan, I didn't know a word of japanese.. Most of what I've learned actually, was just through life and talking to japanese people (especially kids). If you did decide to live here, as long as you get outside of the foreign-people community, you'd definitely pick up quite a bit of it! ^^
Linstarrbeam on July 29th, 2008 03:13 pm (UTC)
looks like fun :D
I can't wait for the party this weekend...yea yukata!!! :D
my friend is even helping tie it for me :D wohoo for japanese friends ^^;

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:23 am (UTC)
OMH I can't wait for this weekend too!!! ^o^ Just this morning, it finally hit that it's birthday time again! I can't wait!! *bounce*

I know how to tie an obi, but I'm still wondering if I should pull it up and wear it short like some girls do these days, or if I should wear it long (because I can't run around in it if it's long!)

Those non-alcoholic drinks sound really good~ * 3*

Oi, I almost forgot your birthday's approaching! D:
Is there a character you really like right now that I can draw for you? :3
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:25 am (UTC)
Mmm, they were delicious, for the most part! Though Sheryl's was a little bit bitter... ^^;;

Oh! Hmm..... can you draw Macross characters? I'm huge into Cheryl and Ranka right now, so either of them would be fine!! Or, hmm... I really like the main character in the new Someday's Dreamers anime, though I can't remember her name... and of course, my OCs are always good standbys. ^^

Wonderful pictures, although I would like to try the green drink. It looks so cool and the popsicles!
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 30th, 2008 12:26 am (UTC)
Oooh, you should try and make it! It's really sweet, with a hint of sour from the green apple. ^^

The popsicles are really good! I've only had one so far, but I'm definitely going to go and try some more!

Jamie, the pictures are wonderful. Even though I was only there a little over a year, I took Japan into myself and made it a second home. Seeing these pics make me really homesick for Okayama!
