I love Macross Frontier!! ♥♥♥
Have you ever stated a fact on the internet, and then suddenly a bunch of people not related at all to the person that you were talking to feel like it's their business to come in and say how much of a freak you are because you don't believe the same way as them? And when you kindly try to tell them that it's a fact, they start calling you names? So you give up, because no matter what you say, they're going to go on deluding themselves? LOL, that was me yesterday, until I stopped reading their hate comments to me. Interesting, though, how people can really tell themselves one thing when reality is another, and then think that you're the one with a problem. But I wasn't about to argue, because in the end a fact is a fact and people can believe whatever they want. It does shock a bit though, that some people are that,uh.. deluded. o.o;; Certainly I have my times that I am too, but not about things like this that can't even be debated.

Anyways!!! =^O^= Actually, until this morning I was trying to keep myself from writing a life-rant.. (not related at all to the above ^^) Stress has been mounting like crazy, time is running out, and I can't seem to make any headway! Nor do I have the energy to be creative, which doesn't help... BUT today I woke up at 6 and it was gorgeous and sunny out!!!! ^O^ No more rainy weather in the 50s!! Running the heater in the summer is just odd. I'm so happy!!! I mean, it's SUMMER, so why is it so cold? It's only supposed to go up to 70 degrees today, but it's a start. I mean, we have had at least 10 months of freezing weather already, when is the good weather going to come and stay? ^O^ (I don't mind the rain, but I want warmth!!) And I'm so jealous of you guys in Phoenix, it's supposed to be up to 100 today! Iiiiiiii na! I think sometimes that I need to move back. >.>;;

I have to leave in about an hour for the DOUBLE ATTACK 2 Gundam 00-only doujinshi event! Eda, Erin, and I have a table at space E6, so if you have a chance, come and see us! ^O^ I did two pages for the new Saji/Louise book, "Watashitashi wa gundam-baka da". Everyone else's pages are funnier than mine, lol, but it's a good book I think!! Wish us luck in selling a lot of copies! ^O^ I wonder if I'll be lucky enough to see a little bit of Nena/Louise porn? o.o If only!! If anyone wants a copy, let me know and I'll put up information when I return!

PS: The title of the entry: I LOVE MACROSS FRONTIER! It felt like everyone around me was watching, and it didn't take much more than seeing awesome posters around town with Sheryl and Ranka on them and the phrase, "kimi wa dare to kiss wo suru?" (Who are you going to kiss?) and the concert the other week, and my yuri-brain kicked in and it went to the top of my priority list! LOL But oh how easy it is to find the time for a few episodes of anime when you have no time for nothing else. I think it's a special anime-time-warp that allows you to do that! Otherwise, I'm not sure how I managed to do it! But in any case... I LOVE Ranka! And Cheryl! Don't care so much for the others yet, especially Alto.. but Cheryl x Ranka... oooooh yes! I hope to find out about some doujin events with them or something, soon!!

Good luck to you all selling your new book! :D I am so impressed with how many books you've all put out.

ROFLOL!! So that's why people were posting on it!

But please don't post links like that. I would rather that more people don't get led to it.. ^^;; Like I need more idiots like those people commenting here. x.x

Yep, we love breastfeedng wank. It never gets old.

It's against the rules to post on your journal from there, like bringing the drama here or else they'll be banned. Though they can link from your personal journal. I'm sure a few are lurking here and reading through. But next time I'll be sure not to. I was just surprised to see you and breastfeeding wank linked because it was just so random.

Ahh that's good. The last thing I need are the boob-nazis invading my journal (again). Not that I can't simply ban them, lol.

It's not the first time the breastfeeding nazis have clashed with me. I think the last time (not the only, lol), it was because I told someone that I thought it was sexual to have your 16-year old boy still suckling. Apparently I'm insane for thinking so. :D

random.... but...

w-waii 16? 16 years old? :|||

Aren't they reaching puberty then...and yes I would agree it to be sexual too. Despite how icky it sounds but at 10+ I'm willing to let it slide.. D:

Its cold here too >: First month of winter...

Utterly random, but is the picture with the menu...showing you how to peel apart a prawn? O.O;

Man, last time I was Phoenix I thought my eyes were going to melt and fall out of my head... but the saguaro were AWESOME.

I hear ya on the weather though. Finally this week we're getting 80's, but it's been a cold wet spring. We'd have some nice 70-ish (or at least upper 60's) days, but then every damn weekend for a while there would be some rain and a bolus of cold air from Canada, the weather guy would get optimistic and say "well maybe 60? Maybe?" and it would park itself at a wet and cloudy clammy 50. :P If it's gonna do that, it can do that during the WEEK at least when I'm at work...

Yesterday though we had crazy thunderstorms (town to the south had 2.75 inch diameter hail, w00t) but those were okay, that was SUMMER rain. As long as there's not serious damages, I kinda like the insane summer storms.

Good luck with the books. I'm quite impressed with all you people on my friends list able to draw awesome stuffs!

Aren't they??!!!! I LOVE the Phoenix landscape!! Now if it was on the coast and it was hot year-round instead of just most the year, I don't think that I would have ever moved away!! =D *wants to live on a tropical beach*

Oh yeah, I LOVE summer storms!! I still miss the rare Phoenix ones. It would be really warm out, but start thundering and you could see lightning start to strike around town. Then the pouring rain would start. I used to run out in it and get completely soaked spinning around in circles! Usually it's like that right about now (minus the thunder/lightning, wah) in Tokyo, but this year it's just freezing cold while raining, which is certainly not the same. It was nearly cold enough to show last week! :x

Are you sure you're not in Oregon? Sounds like what the weather's been like here XD And today, IT WAS NICE *3*

あっ!私はリンニア(Linear)です。はじめまして! (Found you on oyashirosama)

When are these conventions being held? I'm going be in Tokyo June 17-23 and June 29-July 1 and really want to go to one. o3o
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on June 2nd, 2008 02:05 am (UTC)

Well, these conventions are all the time. But they're not the same as American cons at all... With the exception of the largest ones like Comicket, they're just generally a room (large or small) filled with tables of artists sellling their doujinshi. There are cosplayers often, though it's not a good place to take pictures because of the terrible lighting and location. Comicket is slightly different, but only because it's several buildings (all doujinshi), and they have a few industry booths. But yeah, nothing like an American con. ^-~ (there is nothing in Japan really like an American anime con. The closest is Jump Festa, which is in the winter. But even that isn't all that much like one). It's too bad, but I guess if you want anime, it's not like you have to create a culture around it here. It's all over!

If you were here in August, I would recommend the next comicket!! (as long as you want doujinshi)

Yes yes yesss!!! =D As long as mecha/space-fighting doesn't bore you. It does bore me, but I just kind of stop paying attention, and then start watching again when it's something good. The good thing is, the two main girls are so intriguing and interesting, and their story makes up about 80% of the episodes, so there's only 20% of boring filler to sit through. A good ratio, I think!! =D

Pizza Hut's everywhere! It's so funny how aggressive they've gotten with product placement lately.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on June 2nd, 2008 02:07 am (UTC)
Yeah!! Every time I look at them, they're doing a new anime tie-in! LOL

I am utterly in love with Macross F, and the only successful way for me to make others watch it so far is beating them over the head with it.

Those posters sound amazing :O
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on June 2nd, 2008 02:09 am (UTC)
They are quite beautiful, the posters! Well, not really, but combined with the phrase it really works. ;D I will take a picture next time I see one!

Yeah, I think Macross doesn't appeal to everyone. But I can't blame them. I wouldn't have started to watch it because I can't stand boring space fighting in giant mechas. But I'd liked Gundam 00, and so many people like this too, I gave in. :D Though I have to admit it was really the music that was the final blow. Now I just try to ignore all of the boring mecha fighting and watch it for Sheryl and Ranka's interactions! ^-^
