Jamie the.. matchmaker? Fall is finally in the Tokyo scenery!
Tomorrow, I'm theoretically having a nomikai with some good friends.. ^^ The idea is to catch up with ones that I haven't seen in a long time, and introduce one to someone she might like to date... Ahh, why am I so nervous? It's not like I'm the one being set up! (That wouldn't be a bad thing, though! Hint hint) Aaaaanyways..!

It's nice to finally get time to write in my journal! There's so many things that I want to talk about, but sadly none of them have anything to do with real life. ^^; There is something wrong with my health. I wouldn't say that I'm sick (aside from the pesky cold that pretty much everyone has right now), but I'm unhealthy in some other way. I'm always tired.. Except when I get up! I get up with plenty of energy, but by the time that I'm a half hour into work, I'm drained. So much so that I am lethargic, I get really sore really easily, and I fall asleep on the train on the way home (I actually went two stations past mine yesterday before I realized it!). Then when I get home, I can't do any of the chores that I need to do (hello dishes!! o.o), can't do anything but drink and eat and confine myself to resting. And on top of that, I get insatiable cravings for certain foods. I missed some iron pills over the weekend, so maybe I have anaemia.. Gah, how annoying! I really need to get it officially diagnosed. But because of this trip to China, money is beyond-tight. ^^;;

The walk to the outer-city station (on the other side of the city than I happen to live on, of course.. >.>;;). The leaves were so pretty, and for once I had my camera! <3

Japanese walk signals... =D For some reason, I thought it might be interesting..

If only the car would have moved! But no they just parked there, in the middle of the bus stops.. >.>;;

My shadow.. again. Well, the light was really strong, so the shadows looked really cool! XD;; It makes me want to do a series of photos just on shadows..

Typical subway sign.

See these every day! XD;;

I have to transfer in Shinjuku, so that's where the rest of these pictures are from..

This sign literally says "Oh My Spaghetti" under the NIPPN. WTFLOLBBQ? (old meme?)

I love the way that the sky was reflected in Takashimaya <3 Takashimaya is a really awesome store where I often go to eat/shop.

And I LOVE this picture! This is abuilding along the tracks in Shinjuku.. But I don't remember what it is called or what happens inside. It's just a really well-known landmark. ^^ The brown building on the left is Kinokuniya, btw. Yay for foreign books!

Speaking of foreign books, I'm deep into A Game of Thrones now. I really love it!! ^O^ I can't wait to finish it! It's really slow going, though! There are a lot of details to keep straight! I mainly read on the train to/from work, so no wonder it's slow going. ^.^

And.. I saw Disney's Enchanted!! OMGqwelijsfosjfirj!! I have a new favorite movie! I really, really love this movie! (And I really wish it would come out in the theaters here already!!) Giselle is my new hero, I just love her. She is so much like I aspire to be, and I believe in all of the same things that she does. ^^ Looks and voice-wise, she looks just like my friend Melissa, though! When I listen to the soundtrack, my mind keeps replacing her with Melissa, lol! (You have GOT to watch it, mippa!!)

And to fill the rest of the time that I can't do much more than rest, I've started watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Whoa, just whoa. How in the world did I miss such an awesome series when it was airing? How did I never hear about how amazing this series is? It's just what I've been looking for and more! I really, really love it! While the designs put me off before I actually sat through an episode (I mean, seriously. Look at them.. >.>), I'm glad that I watched it. I can't put this show down now! I can't WAIT to see where it goes from now on! I highly, HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who likes suspense anime! Murder mystery ftw! ^^

Well, toriaezu, Zài jiàn! ^-^ I hope I'll get better quickly!

You mean that tower's not Times Square? I have no idea. I'd always thought it was. ^^;;;

And the leaves are so pretty~~

Take care. I know the feeling. It's annoying, this lethargy. >_>

I always thought that too, but it seems it's the NTT tower or some other phone company tower.

Cool. You learn something every day. ^_^;;
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on December 4th, 2007 09:10 pm (UTC)
You can see it from Times Square, but I think Times Square is the area around Takashimaya, on the boardwalks and stuff... but honestly I have no real idea either. ^^;;

Yeah, the minute I typed my response, I thought so too. ^_^;;

Wow... Just getting into A Song of Fire and Ice? You know there are 3 books already after Thrones, and Martin is well into the next one. He even has a journal here: grrm.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on December 4th, 2007 09:13 pm (UTC)
Oh! I didn't know that he had a journal! Cool =D
Yeah, a friend's been telling me since the beginning of summer about it, so I finally got a copy and started reading (the beginning of Nov..). I really have no way to stay current on fantasy right now, since none of my friends in Japan are really into it, and the bookstores have really limited stock. I try to do what I can, but I have no idea what's popular anymore!

I'm in the latter 1/4 of the book, I think? Right around pg 600.. I just got to the part where Robb is taking the army out to where his mother is (I forgot the name though.. oh man so many things to remember!)

Man, I should have gone to see Enchanted. It was playing in theatres when I was home for Thanksgiving break, but I never really had a good time to go. I didn't really want to go alone and my mom had expressed interest, but she was busy getting ready for school and when she wasn't doning that I was getting stuff together to leave for Pullman. Hopefully I can catch it when I go back for winter break.

Lucky, you still have fall leaves! We had snow a couple of days ago. It has rained, so now we have ugly, bare trees.

I had a time when I was tired a lot of the day. I started taking a multi-vitamin and some extra calcium and vitamin D and now I have more energy.

katrinyaakatrinyaa on December 5th, 2007 02:29 am (UTC)
The pictures are so pretty! I love autumn <3

By the way, what type of camera do you use? The pictures came out pretty good and I'm looking to get a camera this Christmas. Thanks!

I really want to see Enchanted. Maybe this weekend :D
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on December 5th, 2007 06:00 am (UTC)
My normal camera (the one I carry everywhere) is a Konica Minolta Dimage. But it's several years old, so I'm sure there are much better shapshot cameras out there on the market now. ^^

Did you download it or see it in theaters? I really want to see it, too! I am so flattered that you are reminded of me!

re: Higurashi -- I am currently working on a fandub of that with my friend chordroy...I am Mion and (most likely) Shion. >=3

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on December 5th, 2007 06:02 am (UTC)
I haven't watched the new Heroes yet!!! Aaaah! I don't think I'll have time before dinner either... =( I'll try! *goes to take a shower*

Hehe, I downloaded it. There's no other choice, or I would have gladly seen it in the theaters! We'll have to go when it comes out here!

OMG! Game of Thrones! One of my cats is named after one of the characters from that series (Daenarys, actually - you should see the looks we get at the vet XD).

Going to China? Cool! Hope you have lots of fun! Be careful over there - sometimes things can be a little sketchy, especially with food stalls.

I hope you feel better soon too! sometimes diagnosing stuff like that is tricky, so i hope it all works out <3
