Thanks for all of the concerned comments. ^-^ I feel fine now!

What are your life goals?
Anyways, I've been thinking a lot (again) about what I want to do with my life besides art. I've always loved art, but I've always love other things too and I don't feel that I'm complete until I've given them a chance as well.

Here are my life-goals:
*Publish a manga (at least 1 long series that becomes an anime).
*Publish a novel and a photo book of photographs I've taken.
*Become fluent in Japanese and Spanish.
*Learn a bit of Chinese, French,& Italian.
*Study the universe.
*Dig up a dinosaur and an ancient civilizations and study them.
*Prove the existence of a few fantastic animals.
*Act in a movie (a titled&credited part).
*Study ocean life.
*Live somewhere IN the ocean.
*live in a colony on Mars (or another planet).
*Go to outer space (separate from the Mars thing).
*Become friends with people from another planet.
*Travel the world.
*Get married.
*Adopt children (when I'm very old of course).
*Have a gallery show of art and a separate one of photography.
*Help the wolves somehow.
*Discover a secret (one of many I'm sure) to longevity/eternal life.
*Earn billions of $.
*Eat chocolate-covered ants (to challenge myself).

Mmmm, I think that's all for the moment but I'm sure that I'll continue adding to this list!

Ah also, you interested in a poker night next month...not just poker, but basically just hanging out with a bunch of people and maybe order pizza, eat smores and so on. :)

Oo, good luck in achieving your goals! I think you have a great shot in becoming a mangaka. ^_^

And I want to go to outer space too!!
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 15th, 2007 06:44 am (UTC)
Ooh! We should go together! Where do you want to go the most?

I want to go to the moon simply because I like how it reflects the sunlight~ I always stare at it in the night. It's so pretty... Just recently a man from my country (Malaysia) went to outer space. He was the first Malaysian to ever go there!

I'm so tempted to go to Pluto too since I'm a sucker for freezing places. ^^;

Act in a movie (a titled&credited part).
Doesn't Nana 2 count a little? ^^ You're def on your way then!

Reminds me that I should head back to my Spanish hw D:

I've got French and publishing a novel on my list too ^^

About the acting, well, you've got Nana now; even if it was just as an extra, but it's still a start!

I got a link to this Wolf Watch sanctuary in a package I received on wildlife conservation. Apparently this place allows you to adopt a wolf and visit them! But it's in UK though.

:D Interesting goals. LET'S GO TO MARS TOGETHER. Yay.

I can help you with the Chinese one, if you want, but when I think about it in an objective way, Chinese is a DAMN hard language to learn. D:

Wow. Your life goals are so inspiring. Good luck! :D
Choco-covered ants LOL XD

Those goals sound fun. I have some goals in mind as well:
get acccpted to the JET Program
go to grad school
become a zoo veterinarian
study marine life
certify as a scuba diver
be a voice actor in an anime
see Saturn
learn how to play go
learn how to fan dance
get married
have 3 children
travel the world
meh, that's probably good for now.

Wow, you've got so many goals in life! I like the one with the fantastic animals. I hope you're going to achieve many of the things you want! :D

Many goals, and I'm sure you can achieved all of them and you can think of more goals to be achieved. :)

My goals are:
1. Become a medical doctor
2. Have my own practice and work at the hospital to help other people.
3. Do some research on the diseases and hopefully find cures.
4. Work for the U.N in the World Health Organization.
5. Travel around the world
6. Become fluent in French, American Sign Language, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and much more.
7. Get marry to someone I love and have kids.

I think there's more, but I really can't think of any. Hahaha.

I don't think I can eat chocolate covered ants. ...Although I heard that there were like lollipops...that contain a grasshopper or something. I'm not sure.

God, are you serious?

Most of those goals are delusional. You need to grow up, girl.

Good luck.

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 15th, 2007 09:44 pm (UTC)
I am grown up, thank you very much. We obviously differ of opinions, but I am serious about my goals and I see no reason for someone that I don't know to try and put me down for them. It's very rude.
Raynermundist on November 16th, 2007 02:50 am (UTC)
Some people shoot for goals no farther than they can see. Most of your stuff is/would be difficult but not impossible. The most difficult stuff would be the Mars/space stuff, but that's because it's actually mostly based on the efforts of others (unless you've gotten some new degrees I don't know about).

People like "Karla" are the reason I have my shirt with the quote, "People too weak to follow their own dreams will always find a way to discourage others."

You know better than to feed the trolls little lady. =D
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 16th, 2007 10:44 pm (UTC)
Hehee.... but the trolls are funny! They just seem so pathetic that I can't help myself but try to make them see how sad they are. :)

Actually, I've been thinking a lot about what kind of degree would put me in a position most likely to be chosen for a Martian colony. The only on I can think of is botany, but I'm not really interested in that, so... What do you think about archeology? I've always loved it, but I don't think that I want a degree in it, since it would take a long time and I can work on an archaeological site as a volunteer without a degree, so I should choose another degree to get one of my other dreams done, which can still cross over to Mars.
Raynermundist on November 17th, 2007 05:23 am (UTC)
I'd say whatever it is you don't want to be the best in the field unless it's something that HAS to be present to help/support. The reason being that if such a thing happens in our life time (attempted Mars colonization) we aren't gonna throw our best live folks out there until things are determined to be "safe" and there isn't always a way to know when that will be.

I figure most of on-location stuff will be done by second-tier folks (so to speak) with the best in the fields safe at home (Earth) for consults. Best in things related to hands-on exploration will probably be the main (if not only) people who really need to be present at the start.

Archeology could work if we find signs of life. Otherwise you'd be SOL. I'm guessing you'd want to go a forensic route. You like weather? I'm guessing a forensic meteorologist would be a necessity. We get a lot of that info already due to satellites but I would guess they'd need someone on the ground to read info and determine quickly what the likely weather patterns could be in an alien (non-Earth) environment.

I could be wrong though. I'm sick so my brain is fuzzy.
