Nerd nerd nerd nerd nerd nerd nerd!!
On Wednesday, I was hanging around with Eda in Shibuya before our drawing workshop, and we went to Tokyu Hands to see if they had decent vampire fangs (they did). And after I'd bought them, I turned around and saw these beauties! Final Fantasy VII potions!!!!!! OMG, being the Aeris lover that I am (long story and no I didn't like the game and yes I played it, only the original, is the remake any good?), I had to buy it. Unfortunately it tastes rather like Mt Dew combined with an energy drink, so it's really more likely to take health points from a real human than give them (game sprites and humans obviously have different genetic makeups, eh?). But I fangirled at the can and will keep it possibly forever. <3 Or longer than a sane person would. (I went to college with a bunch of gamers and I guess it rubbed off on me more than I thought, lol..)

Right now there is a big typhoon raging outside. It's interesting to have one during the day for once. It's pretty chilly, so I can't sit with the windows open and listen to it, and I can't really hear the rain from my room like I want to, but there is something about typhoons that I really like. ^__^ Something calming about mother nature rearing itself outside, and you sitting inside and just enjoying being wrapped up in a blanket. <3 If there was a couch and stuff downstairs, I would relax on it with a good book and just let time slow around me, calmly and peacefully. I love afternoons like those... Especially since there is so much going on in my life now that those kinds of peacefulness are exceedingly rare..

What I thought were allergies it turns out are something more akin to the flu. When the flu medicine I have is working it's bearable, but without it, I'd be in so much pain.. *takes some more* So, it's one of those days where I'm just going to relax and take care of myself, make sure that I let my body heal itself as quickly as possible. That means that I can doodle (don't really have the energy for more serious things, unfortunately), and I can maybe write, and watch some anime. I haven't been watching anime much for the past few seasons, but there are a few that I really like this time around. I'll write about them later..

And soon... the new episode of Moonlight! Honestly, this is the show that I'm enjoying the most right now. I'm totally in love with it. Is there anyone else out there that likes it/has seen it? Maybe it's just my current obsession with vampires (halloween, yay!), but really, I think that it's just a really interesting show. Especially the last 2 episodes... oh man! ♥♥♥♥

I love the weather right now! Although I was going to pay my rent today - now it's rent movies and make some white hot chocolate~ <3 and snuggle with some warm blankets. Best kind of day to chill.

I totally agree. =D
See you tomorrow at the concert! ^^ When do you want to meet? He said that we should get there by 5 to get a good seat.

Can't wait ^^
I'm up for meeting anywhere~ I'll be in Shinjuku (at the theater where we saw his last play) seeing Switch at the 1pm showing tomorrow xD so whenever that ends I'll be free.

I tried watching Moonlight. Didn't make it through the ep I was watching though (guy accidentally turned someone). I'm not sure if I picked a bad one though. I wanted to like it as there are a few actors in it that I like. I may try again later.

Have you checked out The Big Bang Theory? Oh my gosh! Watch it. Something tells me you'll like it.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on October 27th, 2007 07:08 am (UTC)
I think that was the third episode.. which is actually my second-favorite. ^^; Maybe I love it because there is a lot of romantic tension between the two main characters, and I would love to be in her position.. I mean, she has a chance to live forever! ;o; I would give anything to live forever!

I haven't heard of it, but I will look it up! What's it about?
Raynermundist on October 27th, 2007 11:52 am (UTC)
It's about two guy uber geeks (science) and their "normal" attractive neighbor who just moved in. Just watch it cuz you'll find yourself many times going "I know someone like that." One is has no concept of how to interact with people and the other tries.

It's from CBS and was one of the first new shows to get an entire season ordered.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on October 28th, 2007 03:45 am (UTC)
I watched the first two episodes last night. You're right, it reminds me of some people that I know, but to an extreme. :) I'd forgotten how annoying laugh-tracks can be, though! Wow, I guess that it's been a long time since I watched a tv sitcom!
Raynermundist on October 28th, 2007 04:02 am (UTC)
Yes, laugh tracks suck ass. I'm sure it's mostly from a studio audience but it seems REALLY pronounced. Maybe the first few eps are canned laughs and the later ones will be a "real" audience. That's one of the reasons I like scrubs. No laughs but my own.

I really wanted to like Moonlight, I really did. It's about vampires and I adore vampire shows. But it just doesn't work for me. Mick St. John doesn't seem real enough for me and the fact that Beth already knows he's a vampire seems to have happened too soon. Plus, he's rather young vampire so the mysticism of being from a different era just isn't there. I do like Josef though -- he seems like my type of vampire. Unfortunately, I can't watch the show just for that one character. And to be really nitpicky, Sophia Myles doesn't seem to have the American accent down pat yet either which I find a bit distracting at times.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on October 27th, 2007 07:09 am (UTC)
LOL I guess it's not for everyone. I personally prefer a more modern take, and I love the whole "good vampire" thing that's been going on. I am glad that Beth found out so quickly, so that they can bring on the "is he going to turn her??" tension. I really hope that he does! (And I'm so jealous!)

Is it made by Coke or Pepsi?

And, at the back o' me mind, I've always wondered what various strengths of health potions tasted like.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on October 27th, 2007 07:10 am (UTC)
It's made by Suntory. I don't think either of them has anything to do with coke or pepsi, though I might be wrong. They have tons of other drinks in Japan, though.
Chiakichiaki777 on October 27th, 2007 09:39 am (UTC)
huh, Potion is now in cans? I miss the glass bottles...
Williamgenkischuldich on October 28th, 2007 09:24 am (UTC)
I remember when they had the blue bottles that looked as if they were straight out of the game... we looked everywhere to find them! I think I'll try these too though -- they look fun!
