SUKIYAKI WESTERN DJANGO!
I just watched the new episode of Ghost Hunters, and it freaked me out so badly that I can't sleep. Ami heard me freaking out, and came in here to watch too. So we invited Valentin and watched it as a group. I'm still totally freaked out. It reminds me of something very close to home. I feel like we really heard the voice of something otherworldly on there, and it gives me the chills. *shivers* Ahhhh, so tired that my head aches, but I'm terrified of turning off the light. My god.

So, yesterday Eda and I went to see a japanese movie called Sukiyaki Western Django. Which may have possibly been one of the strangest live-action movies I've ever seen. Well... considering that the whole movie was in.. english.. (sort of) with a mostly japanese cast who cannot speak/understand any english.. and was a.. samurai (?) western. Um, yeah. Oh, it had Quentin Tarentino. In it. Not directing, I mean.. acting. Not being a fan of his, I had no idea that he acted (sort of) as well as directed. Um, the movie was just odd. It was the retelling (according to Eda) of a famous samurai tale as if it was a western. In Japan. Whee, coxboy x samurai (not Shanghai Noon, no.).. The costumes were really neat, though they seemed to belong more to the 5th Element than anything. And, uh yeah, did I mention the english? Well, the actors did a good job, considering that most of them probably didn't know what they were saying (and as such, most of the lines were not believable). I even understood the english some most of the time. The old lady from Memoirs of a Geisha was in it. I didn't know that she was japanese, but anyways, her english was passable. Though I have to admit, hearing Shakespeare quoted in accented, heavily-stressed-on-the-wrong-syllables english was quite hilarious. So was hearing Quentin Tarentino declare himself an Otaku (!) while trying to mirror the accents the others have. Oh, and they liked bloody mouths in this movie. Overall.. I am glad I saw it because I need to see something this odd once in a while, to reassure myself that yes, no matter how bad what I write one day may be, it too will be bought by someone. Sadly however, I do not drink often enough to have had the insight beforehand that this movie would be a lot better while drunk. My loss. ;_;

Okay, now I'm tired enough to go to sleep... So I will leave you with:
Possibly the BEST plushie/clothing line EVER.
And this is cute too. ^-^ Want.

PS: And yaaaaaaay, got preorder information for the next 2 Bleach musicals! (Bleach the ALL, and Bankai show 002!) I stuck by my saying that it wasn't the end, and it paid off. ^-^

Pee & Poo?????? WTF? *dead* _._

Are you allowed to give out the dates for the Bleach musicals? Just that I can kind of schedule my holidays next year?

They're showing together, March 24-31 next year. It's only in Tokyo, but it seems to give the impression they're going to schedule other shows at later dates..
