Sightseeing in Yokohama~☆

(I'm fairly sure I wrote those wrong, but whatever.. ^^;;) Anyways... last Saturday after the musical, I met up with a lot of friends that I haven't seen for a long time (Motoki, Yuuko, Macchan), and beautiful Ami-chan (whom I see rather more often). It was SO much fun, I can't even begin to explain it properly. LOL It really seems that when I have super-high emotions about something, I lack the finesse with words necessary to explain it properly. Happy is happy, but aren't there different shades? For once I wasn't tired, and though it was quite cold outside (unusual considering I had to wear my winter jacket and the next day I could have worn a tank top..), and it was rainy but... I am just so happy to have been able to meet with friends that I adore so much!! *hughughug*

I met up with everyone in a giant mall attached to the ports and the concert hall~ Queen's Landing. I've been there before a few times, but this time the aim was just to hang around and visit other places in the area, eat, and have fun being friends! ^___^ I was the latest one because Tenimyu ran longer than it was supposed to (a half hour! :O), but no hard feelings, ne? I introduced everyone, since I was the common thread between everyone (except Motoki and Yuuko of course), and M&Y, since they live in Yokohama were designated the tour guides! They recommended Chinatown for lunch, and I was thrilled----- my first trip to Chinatown!! ^o^ They took us (and by took I mean PAID! O.O) to a really expensive Chinese restaurant... a gorgeous, GORGEOUS place.

Afterwards, we went back to the port and the gigantic ferris wheel and partook of that, haunted houses, ice cream, karaoke, and umpteen other things! ^-^ OH man, again... I can't explain how much fun it was!!!

I took this picture from the top of the ferris wheel of the landing below. <3

Amichan, me, Yuuko, and Motoki in the restaurant. ^^

From the right-- See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, and WTF(me)?

Ami took most of the pictures from here on. ^^ Her camera is so awesome! I took a few of the ones (like in the ferris wheel) but I can't remember which anymore.. LOL so Ami gets all the credit! ^____^

The biggest ferris wheel in the world. Actually, even though they tell you that while you're riding it, it's actually not the largest. But it is REALLY big. If you've seen the anime "Loveless", it's the same ferris wheel that all of the characters ride when they vacation in Yokohama. ^^

A skull with a hat. I thought this was the most hilarious thing I had seen all day! It just seemed really absurd. It was outside a haunted house that we went into (pictures were forbidden inside). I thought that the Haunted House in Tokyo Dome was a lot scarier though, but this one had a cool feature--- each person had to hold a flickering fake candle the entire time, which unknowingly measured your heartbeats! Then at the end of the haunted house, you put it into a reader and it rated your 'scared factor' on a level from 1-10. XD;;;; 10 being the highest, Motoki, Yuuko, and I scored a 6 (though I wasn't all that scared, lol), Ami scored a 4, and Macchan scored a 7! So we made fun of her. =D We're such good friends.

Some gorgeous pictures from the inside of the ferris wheel. It was very overcast, but they came out really well anyways.

I looooooooooove this picture. Somehow it came out looking foggy. Though it wasn't. Just a little bit misty. But still <3

A pirate ship below!! I want to ride it!! :O

ME. I think I was posing, but.. I can't remember! LOL it's fun being a model though!

I didn't know she was going to take a picture. XD;; But I think this is the funniest picture of me ever. Ahh messy hair!

Ami-chan! This is a really good picture of her. =D

Yuuko and Motoki. =D

I could touch the carriages as they came down, while we were walking under the wheel. It was funny while Ami was trying to get a good picture (they're all blurry or really dark. This was my favorite of the bunch though), a little boy stopped and started staring and 'woooooow'ing. XD;; I love it, because my arms look as long as my legs because of the angle (she was up on some steps). XD

Giant hissing/moving/steaming/red-eyed snake VS. me. Who wins?? Shush.

I like this picture Ami took of some of us enjoying the view of the log plume ride (which we didn't ride. Too cold!)

Giant pikachu VS. my lips. Who wins???

The ferris wheel lit up at night. <3

My arm is really fat. O.o But I like the framing and lighting and angle.. Ami is really talented!

Motoki, uh.. doesn't like chipmunks. I said that I was planning to buy one as a pet (true), and he said.. this. XD;; Twice. XD;;

Oh, and I should mention that the entire day took place in Japanese. Almost exclusively. Since M&Y and Macchan can't speak any english. Nearly 18 hours of speaking/listening to only japanese, and when Ami-chan and I got on the train home, it was actually hard to think in english again. I think, maybe, that's the first time that I've started thinking in japanese. SO WEIRD. But such an awesome step, I'm really proud of myself! ^-^ One step at a time-- I'm just working on sucking less. But these are such great friends, that even in japanese we never lacked anything to talk about or joke about. ^^

*gasp* the ferris wheel!! I rememebr it from Brother Beat (my fave jdrama). Awww!

How far away is Yokohama from Shinjuku? Ne, Maybe we should swing by there one day?

And yay! Im proud of you for carrying on a day in Japanese! We all gotta take our little steps. Im getting there, btu my days are spent in a restaurant. I need more conversation lol

Ahh it looks like you had so much fun!

Ne, why is your friend scared of being stalked by tenimyu fangirls??
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on April 3rd, 2007 02:14 am (UTC)
It's really, really far. It's not even in Tokyo. But if you manage to catch one of the special trains from Shinjuku there, it only takes about a half hour or so to get to Yokohama station. It's more of a day trip than somewhere you can just swing by. ^^

She's scared because there are some fans that read this journal still and talk about me on 2-chan it seems. I thought they were over that, but I guess that it's still going on.

Oh! But a day trip sounds fun! About how much does the train out there and back cost? We really might haev to go do this. I'm such a nerd over Brother Beat. The ferris wheel is where Chisato confessed her love and then it's where Tatsuya proposed when he figured out that he really did love her. I'm such a nerd to wanna go, but ne, the park looks like so much fun!

OH wow, yeh I understand that greatly. Some people on the internet are such dumbasses. I really stay away from 2ch and such places
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on April 3rd, 2007 03:30 am (UTC)
A round trip from Shinjuku is around 1000 yen or so. So it's closer than Enoshima at least. ^_^We should go!

Oh yeah, me too. I don't like places that are hostile like that. It doesn't seem that you could make any real friends in an anonymous forum, so why bother, you know?
~Elle~suthrnbellechan on April 3rd, 2007 03:40 am (UTC)
oh wow that isn't a abd price! ^_^ It's sttled then! We're going hehe

OH i understand completely. I've been wary even on LJ, because people can be so different on here ya know?
