Ask me a question...!
Even if you know me well, please:
Ask me any question.
Any question at all.
I must answer it truthfully but
can choose to leave out details.

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 01:44 pm (UTC)

Aly Supetranaya_chan028 on March 13th, 2007 01:30 pm (UTC)
Nya~ What's it like living in Tokyo?(I've read your entries but yeah..XP)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 01:46 pm (UTC)
It's really, really different than living in America, and yet the same.
(Sorry I can't be more specific, it's a pretty broad question ^^)

What's the hardest part about drawing for you?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 01:54 pm (UTC)
Coming up with the initial pose is the hardest. I have a hard time with getting the picture in my head down onto paper and making it look natural, and not posed. X.x It's really difficult for me, but if I manage to get it done well (10% of the time), then I always feel really proud. ^___^
Yuviyuvi on March 13th, 2007 01:34 pm (UTC)
ahh.. I still need to finish getting caught up with your posts.. but I shall ask, its ok if I ask two questions?

Have you made any decision on making good(s) (anything) with your art to sell? (inquiring minds want to know ~.^)

Are you really happy in Japan?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 01:55 pm (UTC)
1) I haven't made any decision yet. I've been thinking about it a lot though.
2) Yep! I have my down times, but this is definitely my home and it feels like it.

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 02:01 pm (UTC)
1) A thick art notebook
2) A generator
3) A laptop with satellite internet connection
4) A set of colored pencils
5) A digital camera with recharger

Every time that I can't get something that I'd be able to get in America, I feel homesick. So I can't really say.. recently, quite often, but the last two years I haven't felt homesick most of the time. I think the weather has a lot to do with it too.

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 11:13 pm (UTC)

What are the greatest parts about working with seiyuu?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 11:14 pm (UTC)
I've only worked with one seiyuu, but she is a really sweet person. ^^ I think the best part is the sense of accomplishment-- I mean, I helped with a song that actually went onto a CD. It was a really great feeling. ^^

Your job right now, is it that ALT (assistant language teacher) thingie ? ^^
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 11:16 pm (UTC)
Officially, yes. But unlike most ALTs I actually work alone, with the original teacher becoming my assistant for keeping order in class.

What do you suggest to a person who want finish her study to move to Tokyo for teach italian and english?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on March 13th, 2007 11:18 pm (UTC)
If english is not your native language, you should get a certificate of fluency or a degree in english, because most companies will only hire a native-- the jobs that don't have native teachers are fewer and harder to get. I suggest getting some teaching experience before you move to Japan if possible, because that will make you more appealing to companies, also. ^^ And then study japanese! Lots! ^^
