I was reading a scary novel....
A random email from a guy friend interrupted my reading The Amityville Horror late at night, a little while ago. o.o;;;; I was all scrunched up in bed scared to death that some malicious ghost was going to materialize in my kitchen, that when my email chime went off all loudly, I nearly jumped out of my skin. SCARY evil evil email!! :O wtf... >.>;; Oh man, I'm so jumpy now, I feel like I'm going to keel over. Kyaaaaaa!!!!

But... I really, really love scary movies and books. I don't like slasher movies or things like that really, but things about the supernatural just hold my fascination for hours. Gah, I'm so freaked out that I have to write in lj just to soothe my nerves or something.... help..

*clings* I'll protect you!

You know, that same thing happens to me ALL the time lol. I'm either reading or watching something scary, and then my phone goes off all loud... or someone knocks on the door X_x;;.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on February 3rd, 2007 04:06 pm (UTC)
I just found a website that has real crimescene photos from the murders that took place in the house. Including the dead bodies in the house as they were found... Now WHY did I look for that??? ^_^;; Aaaah, yeeps! I need to switch books tonight.
Sana-chan: balletsana_chan on February 3rd, 2007 04:41 pm (UTC)
Gah! lol You looked up those things? I'd be far too spooked to go to sleep.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on February 3rd, 2007 04:45 pm (UTC)
Yeah, insatiable curiosity.... but I finally gave it up in order to look up information on a Children's book series that I read as a kid. XD;;

I have to say you got more guts in reading Scary movie than I do. I can't even watch them cause I'll get nightmare that'll wake me up crying. I usually listen to music when i sleep cause it helps most of the time. XD

sorry for the double reply my computer is crazy.
jean_kun on February 3rd, 2007 06:53 pm (UTC)
Oh, I can't watch scary movies for the life of me, and I usually tend to stay away from horror novels XD I remember when I was really young, my parents would watch scary movies and I'd have so much trouble going to sleep! For instance, this one movie showed a town of goblins disguised as humans, and whenever a new family would move into their neighborhood, they'd somehow turn the family into gelatin (put body in gelatin) and eat them! I was so afraid that would happen to me...and now I wish I hadn't remembered that XD Stupid story, but it still got to me as a kid XDD

Ah, I hope you're calmed down now! Drink some hot cocoa, it's relaxing :DDD

Yeah, I can't do scary movies. But, I did hear an owl last night. I know, totally off subject, but it was cool. Well, I should get going. I need to burn some stuffs off my hard drive so I can upload three episodes of Ouran. I then have to plan what AMVs to show at tonight's Anime Club meeting, plus I have a test on Monday, quiz on Tuesday, and a paper due Wednesday.

*pat pat*
I'm not into scary movies. I had a nightmare once after watching a scary movie. I decided that's enough.

Top 2!

I agree that I enjoy the like psychological and supernatural horror stuff than slasher things. But oh my goodness, novels freak me out the worse, i think cuz you can get so so into a novel.

And omg did you yell at him for scaring you like that LOL

I like stories about supernatural stuff, too. I kind of like the 'black dog in the corner of my eye' feeling. <<. Don't know if that makes any sense. I don't get scared easily, but I like the suspense-y. Like 'spirits are always with you'...*laughs* Sometimes I wake up at night and think: Did I dream that scratching noise now or did I wake from it? And then my cat drops onto my face and I nearly shout.

Uhm, the reason I'm commenting instead of just reading along (yes, I'm shy^^')is:
I'm going to Tokyo for a month soon and among other things I wanted to watch a theatre play. The problem is a)that I'd need to order it through Lawson ticket, which I never did before (took one look at the website and got scared by the tons of kanji) and b) that I'd need to get it from the ticket machine personally. But since the tickets go on sale on Feb 11th and I won't be in Japan until the 21st, they'd probably sold out by then.

While think I probably can manage to order the tickets if I take the time to translate everything, I know noone in Tokyo who'd go and actually get them for me.

Which is why I am bothering you, even though we hardly know each other, aside from maybe having seen each others usernames on LJ now and then.
If I managed to buy a ticket, could you get it from the machine for me and we could meet up when I'm in Tokyo so I could get it? Would that be possible? I'd understand if you say you can't, but I really REALLY want to see that play and am a bit desperate already.

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on February 5th, 2007 01:42 pm (UTC)
Sure, I can pick it up, it's no problem. =^__^=
Kira Seyvahstraycat_cayra on February 5th, 2007 07:22 pm (UTC)
uwaah, thank you!

now I just got to figure out how to use the Lawson site..*hmmm*
Kira Seyvahstraycat_cayra on February 11th, 2007 12:13 pm (UTC)
okay, I feel stupid.

That's the show I wanted to watch. And I can't figure out how to order. (And I've got the sneaking suspicion it's sold out already, which would be really crazy since it went on sale TODAY)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on February 11th, 2007 02:32 pm (UTC)
I went to the webpage, but I only get an error message... Can you link me to the page for the show on lawson instead? (there should be a top page for it)

Not all shows sell out right away. For example, the first few Bleach myus and Air Gear never sold out. But something popular like Tenimyu or Bleach myu nowadays sells out in a few minutes flat.

Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on February 11th, 2007 11:58 pm (UTC)
I looked at the pages for tickets, and it says that they're already stopped selling them. Elsewhere on the page, it says that they only stop selling if they've sold out. So I'm assuming that's they're sold out (in any case you can't buy tickets anymore).

I'm not surprised considering the cast. I wouldn't mind seeing it for myself, I might try to get same-day tickets.

There are two options now: You can try to get tickets through yahoo auctions (expensive but doable) or try to get same-day tickets. There's no guarantee that there will be any same-day and there won't be many if there is, but it's cheaper. But you're not guaranteed to see the show if that's the case.

Good luck getting some! ^^ Let me know if you do, maybe I will go with you! ^^
Kira Seyvahstraycat_cayra on February 12th, 2007 12:34 pm (UTC)
Hm...how do you get same-day tickets? Is there a certain procedure?

(I'll ask a friend to keep an eye out for me on yahoo, anyway.)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on February 12th, 2007 11:34 pm (UTC)
For popular shows, if they saved any tickets they'll do a lottery with all of the people that come to wait. They'll say on their website later if they're doing that. Otherwise you just go up and buy them. But chances are very high that you won't get to see it, so if you're coming to Japan just to see this play or it's very important to you, don't rely on it. I've had friends that came to Japan just to see Tenimyu without any tickets, and just trying to get sameday tickets, and they had to leave without seeing it because they couldn't get any.
Kira Seyvah: nittakamaitachistraycat_cayra on February 13th, 2007 10:34 am (UTC)
No, I'll be in Tokyo for a month anyway, so that would have been just an added bonus. But I think I'll try^^

Hm...let's still meet? I have a drawing that I did for you somewhen last year tucked away somewhere, too, I think XD And I want to get to know you.

Hi there,

If you're interested in the supernatural and scary you should try out this videogame called "Fatal Frame" or "Zero" in Japan, and it's for PS2. It's about this girl named Miku Hamasaki, who's brother (a photo journalist) has been investigating an old japanese mansion where sacrifces and ritualis were held but were unsuccessful, freeing all these spirits with a grudge. Now, she is put into this mansion looking for her brother, going deeper and deeper into the dark history of this mansion where a priestess was suppose to be sacrifced to close the gates to hell. Now she haunts the mansion, taking lives of those who dare enter. (am I selling this or what? haha) You are equiped with a camera that captures the other life (basically your weapon) to save your brother and leave this mansion unharmed. It is spooky, but so interesting.

Hopefully that got you interested. Don't play this game in the dark.

Re: hi
*blinks* That was so random!! And on such an old entry~~ Actually, I really love that game, I played it several times when I was in college and always meant to buy a copy myself when I got a Playstation (and access to those games).
