I am Happy. Who are you? =D
The name of this store in my neighborhood is "Super Discount Chaplin". I especially love the cute little hat on the left! ^-^ It's such a cute name for a little store. ♥

Today, the weather is holding out GREAT. I got a package of buttons in the mail from Kawaii Not, which is a cute CUTE cute (or not?) little webcomic. It's made me laugh so many times, that I'm really excited to be able to put the buttons onto things now. =^-^=

By the way, there are two kinds of people in the world-- Those who make the most of their life and spread happiness among those they meet-- and those who have no aspirations and look upon those whom have a better life than them with disdain. Which are you?

I'd hope that I was the first. ^^ But I definitely am not the second. ^___^ I'm glad that you're happy! *HUGGZ* Everyone deserves more happiness!

Uwah, cute store! I also like the little hat ^^

I just checked out what Kawaii Not was, and it's so adorable! The artwork is simplistic in design, yet there's so much expression depicted! So cute :D

I'm working hard in my own way to become the first type of person! I really want to help other people by becoming a doctor, so ganbatte to me!

Only two kind of people~?
I think I'm the first...perhaps...I just know that I have never looked to someone else thought that they had a better life - nor have I envied the life of another and disliked them for it. I certainly enjoy what life has brought me *nod* so that makes me not the 2nd...I think~ ^__^

Aww, the store looks really cute~ *-*

I'm not exactly sure which one I am. My friends always say that they like being with me since I'm so happy-go-lucky and I'm living my life at the fullest, but even though that's true, I'm still looking at others who have better lifes than my life is. I'm not jealous or anything, but I still keep on thinking, "ah, that'd be wonderful.." when I look at those admirable people. But~ I'm trying my best at accomplishing my dreams too, so I hope that I'll continue being one of those happy persons, spreading more happiness and love. ♥

Cute cuteness indeed...

However, I'm still convinced there's only one kind of person in this world though: those that make separations, and those that don't. ;-)

*shakes head*

The world is not in black and white. There are all kinds of people in the world and the myriads of colours is what makes it interesting. Even in black and white movies, there are so many shades of grey. Why categorise people?

I'm sorry, but I do not believe in that. I hardly spread joy and happiness, but I do not envy and look down on other people either. I exist, in the way that I am, and react to what I'm dealt with the best of my abilities.

We all do our best to survive out in the world. Even serial killers do have a soul - by which I mean thoughts and emotions of their own that many people would not understand. It doesn't change the fact that they are a danger to others, but they are not brainless monsters either.

The war of Good and Evil is a tale as old as time, but I think it's a simple rule, for simple people. We all can see past all that into what the world really is, I think.

Yeah, I just needed to say that. I'm afraid I'm a little exasperated with the black and white views I hear expressed all around me. The world is not that simple.

The war of Good and Evil is a tale as old as time, but I think it's a simple rule, for simple people. We all can see past all that into what the world really is, I think.

I love the first part of that, but wonder at the latter. Do we, assuming "we" are a people that can see past simpleness, actually see what really is? What is that reality? And, then, by that definition, isn't that also separating? The simple folk from those not? There seem to be some people out there that really take the whole good/evil thing pretty seriously.

I've been lookin' for awhile and, well, I've some ideas, and know some things, but I dunno.

All good questions I should think. I think what merits a discussion.

Nonetheless, I solicit you to stop by my recent (soon to be posted) post about Tolkien mythology on similar issues. It seems we might be in the same place?
aionwathaaionwatha on February 3rd, 2007 02:09 pm (UTC)
When I said "we", I meant all of us, if we chose to. All human beings on this planet have what it takes to think for themselves and can try and get a grasp of the bigger picture. You, me, everyone. We all can do it. The question is, do we chose to.

You got my attention with the Tolkien talk. I shall stalk you now. X3
Jasonaltrus on February 3rd, 2007 02:35 pm (UTC)
::steeples fingers:: Excellent... always good to have a stalker...

I did kinda figure that's what you meant, otherwise, why try to say it anyway. sigh... just nitpicking... ;-)

unfortunately, I'm *still* writing the Tolkien thing... having trouble getting the words for the elven part down right... ;-) chotto matte...

I'm heading to bed, so take your time. There shall be time to stalk tomorrow.

*hugs* I didn't mean it in the way that you think, it was more of a compare-contrast statement about me and the people who have been stalking my journal and making nasty commments (quite often now). They're really jealous of me for whatever their reasons are, and it gets pretty old after a while. I can't understand why they just don't leave me alone if they don't like me. Jealousy can be really ugly. It's weird too, because everyone is jealous of someone at some time, but it's how you handle it, you know? Anyways.... I just wanted to say, don't take it personally. I'm not saying that it's the only way to classify people or that it n eeds to be done, but the people in the second category have been getting to me for their annoying persistence.

I'm so tired... -_- But for what it matters, I actually think that you do inspire happiness. I always feel happy hanging around you recently, so in at very least me and the other people that love you, you make us happy. ^^

PS: Monday I'll be getting home around 2. I could hang out from 3 or 4~~~

I need to see my cardiologist in the morning for my monthly appointment. (bleh) I'm usually out of her office by 12:30 though. Other than that, I have to go to the post office. 3pm gives me more than enough time. Up to you. I'll be up anyway for the hospital business. v_v;

I didn't feel particularly targeted by the comment; I guess my irritation comes from long discussions I've had with people quite close to me who kept painting things in black and white, calling some people good, some bad. And really, all of them had both qualities and flaws so I guess I just felt annoyed over this issue for a long time.

I've never had jealous people attack me; or if they have, I've never noticed. I'm good at being oblivious sometimes. So I can't say I understand, but I sympathise, at least. Now I know where your comment is stemming from.

hmm which kind? I would love to be the first... but there are times I look upon other people's life too.

It's not really like copying or anything but it makes you a better person?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on February 3rd, 2007 10:52 pm (UTC)
I'm sure that you're the first. ^__^ Looking upon others, even experiencing jealousy is normal I think. It's how you handle it that makes the difference. ^^
Miharuru ( ミハルル)miharuru on February 3rd, 2007 08:18 pm (UTC)
LOL I think I'm definitely the first type XD To have no dreams and aspirations in life and look at those who have with jealousy and disdain is a awful way to live, I think it's not even like living x_x To live is to have a goal, and when that goal is obtained you have to find other and another to keep living, if you just live by breathing and sleeping and eating then... what's the point in that?
Kyo-chan: FMA - edward grinningkyofujimiya on February 3rd, 2007 09:03 pm (UTC)
I'm totally one of the happy ones. Life is not meant to be easy, but that doesn't mean we should make it hard for others by being grouchy at those who are doing better at the time. The grass is never always greener...it goes through winter and dies, follows summer and dries up, but spring will always make it if you believe. [Sorry for being corny.. *laughs* I'm in a very good mood today.] I love making other people happy as often as I can because I'm fortunate to be mostly happy myself. And when I'm down, I have people that care enough to pick me back up again. Life...is wonderful.

I'm last one of the two. I guess I have bad luck ^^'''

awwwww, cute!!! *___*

Hm...I don't know if I qualify as the 1st. I try though. Even if I am a person who sometimes feels envious, it's more of a 'damnIhavetotryhardermyself' feeling.
