So anyways!!! I am back at work. I feel lackluster for work. I even accidentally left things there on Thursday that I needed for a different place on Friday. Oops! Well, I made it work without them, anyways. Being artistic is a real help sometimes! ^-^
I, um.... just might be wearing Matsumoto Rangiku's official necklace right this very moment. It might even give me happy squishy feelings inside. =D Does that make me a dork? (yes?) I reserved it at the Shibuya Animate on a whim while Chelsea was here and just went to pick it up on Thursday afternoon. I love it!! It was cheap, too. =D
Also, I am a sucker for well-made figures of my favorite characters. There really aren't that many out there. So you can imagine that I was THRILLED to find that they FINALLY released good-looking chibi-figures for Prince of Tennis!!
UWA!! How long I have wanted a little plastic Ryoma that actually looked good!! I bought a few boxes and ended up with two Ryomas, a Fuji, and a Tezuka. Now to figure out what to do with the other three, I just wanted Ryoma and the special Ryoma (which I didn't get). I have a little Naru statue too from Negima. ♥ I'm going to get another if I can and then paint/alter the extra to look like Sakuno sometime. ^.~ (In case you couldn't tell, these figures all come in boxes or packages and you can't tell what they are before they're open. Sometimes you can buy them later in some resell stores, but it's a gambling game waiting to see if they'll come in and how expensive they'll be...)
Better than Tenipuri, they have TINY mascot characters for Bleach out now!! bought a few in Akihabara and was hoping to get Orihime and Matsumoto.... First package-- Matsumoto!! Second package-- Orihime!! I squealed and was so happy!! ^o^ Eda was with me, and I told her that if I get Ikkaku, I would give him to her. And what did I get? =D =D =D Ikkaku! She now has a happy little Ikkaku in her pocket. XD On Thursday I bought a few more hoping to get an extra Matsumoto and Orihime to put on my computer (the others are on my phone and they will quickly get dirty I'm sure), but I only got Matsumoto. I also got two Hitsugayas (keeping one since I love him, and giving the other away... maybe to Nagayan), a special version Ikkaku (giving to Eda-- as she said, what's better than one Ikkaku in her pocket? TWO Ikkaku's in her pocket! They will have chibi-incest, I think.. =D), and a Renji (do you want it, Hiku? I'll give it to you). I love that the figures are so well-made!! ^o^ They're a little over an inch tall maybe, and so well-detailed! And they are made from a great non-reflective material. I love!! The only minus is that since they're character mascots, they have little rings in their head and if you take them out, ther'es a little hole. I'll have to fill that up on the ones that I want to keep on my desk. ^^
So, also recently, I've fallen in love with the cute little onsen manjuu line that appears sometimes in UFO catchers. I have (had) some cute stuffed ones, and now they have these little tiny plastic/vinyl ones that I thought were just perfect for the top of my computer!! =D I am in love!!! ^o^ I caught the whole series and a few extras that I'm going to give to people whom it's kind of an in-joke for. =D
So now to complete my dorkiness for the moment, on my desk there is a large Orihime in shinigami robes figure, a Pinky St. that looks like me, a chibi Miki from Marmalade Boy, and the little figures that I bought recently. =D (and a bunch of other stuff but..) I guess that I can really answer my question myself, huh? ^_^;;
PS- I promise to stop writing about anime soon... suddenly I'm in such a nostalgic mood. This is what brought me to Japan after all, my interest in anime/manga.
