Watashi-tachi ga ita~☆
Last night was the night of meeting new and old friends!! =^__^= It was a blast, I had a really great time!!

Eda and I went to Shinjuku and met up with Anomay and her her boytoy for the first time, Gin and her boytoy for the first time, and my old friend from high school, Matt. I haven't seen him in 5 or 6 years, hisashibuuuuuuuri jya~!!! O.O But all of us went to an Isakaya, spent too much money, and had a great time just hanging out!!

Afterwards, many of us headed to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building to take advantage of the FREE lovely views at night from the observatory. These twin towers are the highest buildings in all of the city at the moment. I can't believe that I've lived practically next door to it for more than a year and never bothered to go there. I really didn't know that it would be so beautiful!! Not even close!! But the night view of Tokyo was stunning!! Beyond stunning, it was amazing!!

Some of us at dinner. ^___^ But most of us got cut off... XD;;;

This picture was fun =D

This was the toilet paper in the bathroom at the izakaya. I think that they're trying to suggest something to the drunk female clientele, ne....................................

From the top of the government building~~~ I love this picture.... this is one of my favorite pictures that I've taken of Tokyo in a long time.. Look at our lovely smog!! ^o^ We so healthy!!

So pretty ♥

Shinjuku central park from above at night... gorgeous.

Matt's reflection in the elevator on the way down..

Me and Anomay.. Notice how much I have to lean over compared to her ^_^;;

Oh no, it's CLOSE! ;o;////////////

Lots and lots of fun, it was really great to see old friends and meet old and new ones alike for the first time in person ♪ I had a lot of fun, I can't remember being that cheerful in a long while. ^__^ And today, the adventure continues without stop!

PS: Does anybody know if policeman in Japan are allowed to carry guns? (Maybe? We couldn't decide...)

WOW...Shunjuku is beautiful! o__o Tokyo in general is... Maybe it's just my weakness for city lights since I've lived in the country where there's nothing. I can imagine it being very bright all the time.

How long have you lived in Japan?
A little over 2 years
Is your spouse/significant other Japanese?
I don't have either, so..
Would you describe your Japanese ability as: Poor average good excellent
Well, I would not say that I'm good at all, I'm not poor. But I'm better than the average gaijin, since many of them can't speak anything.

Great to hear you're feeling happier! Those pictures of night Tokyo are beautiful. It's a pity pictures like those can't be taken here. We don't have big and lit up cities like Tokyo and no high buildings.

That toilet paper is rather interesting xD

Erm, given that every police officer I've seen here had had a handgun prominently displayed in a holster on their belt, I'd say yes. :)

Fab views!

Hi Mina.... *hugs*
I did get it.... I can only make excuses and I know that that doesn't make up for not sending the reply, but basically things just blew up in my personal life (things sitting on the burner suddenly hit the boiling point, kind of...). I really wanted to make it to your wedding, and I tried hard but I wasn't totally sure if I could or not so I waited and waited, and then things happened all at once... like I said, I can only make excuses, so I'll stop now.... I'm really very sorry.. ;__;

But I'm still going to send the happy couple some nice presents. =) Things are settling down now, so I'll try my hardest to make up for missing everything. *hugs* I'm so happy for you, I still can't believe that you're married!!! So amazing! I can't wait to see some pictures!!
