Allergies are still going strong..!! {Kill me now!} Japanese medicine generally doesn't work, by the way. ^^;;

Yesterday, I went to COSTCO with Eda and Erin in the hope of finding pumpkin pies! It's a long way out of the city and an even longer walk from the station once there, but we really, really wanted pies!! Only.. there were none. ;_; I couldn't find them last fall either, but the fall before I bought the most delicious pumpkin pie on the face of the earth!! (Well, next to my Mom or Grandma's... mmmmm) Hopefully they will have some in November. I will definitely go back, because I am sadly, like most Tokyoites, deprived of an oven of my own and could therefore not make any. So I say, "Come on COSTCO, don't fail me now!!"

And I had PIZZA!! Real, American-tasting pizza! I still say that American-style pizza is the best in the world. I don't like japanese or italian style much at all. American: spicy sauce, TONS of cheese, and pepperoni and other delicious toppings. Even better is cheese-stuffed crust!! Ahhhhh how I miss you, AmePiza! (<-- abbreviating things like japanese people now..) Coindidentally, there ARE Pizza Huts in numerous quantities in Japan, but it is not American-style (which means there is super thin crust, almost no cheese, tons of tomatoe-y sauce and... interesting toppings. Corn or potato pizza, anyone? How about squid? O.o;; and likely mayonnaise)

Then I went to El Toritos with A and M. We had to wait foreeeeeever for a table, but it was worth it!! ^o^ What a busy day, and more to do today! (But first.... draw!!) I did buy blender markers yesterday after all...

Food cravings are so frustrating aren't they? XD They won't leave you alone and you KNOW you can't find it anywhere and....-flops- XDD Yeah I think we all know the feeling of a 'food craving'....

And yay for pizza! o__o

*perks* There is such thing as potato pizza? 8D I actually like the strange toppings; the pizza's like that in Taiwan too~ Ah, I want pizza now. >:

Good luck finding pumpkin pie! 8Db

Yeah, there really is. Ew, I won't even touch it, it looks so tasteless!

It's not so much the toppings that I find disturbing (Though mayonnaise? I mean, come on... x.x) it the fact that there's so much disgustingly-sweet sauce and almost no cheese. I like pizza mainly for the cheese, so it's so disgusting to me when there isn't any! ;o;

Note to self: Do not eat Japanese pizza. Good to know.
And gotta love that hat. It's full of splendor.

At the Pizza Huts in Sendai I can get a plain cheese, stuffed crust pizza...they call it a "basic pizza" and it tastes a little different than pizza back in the US but it's pretty good. It's also not too horribly expensive, about 1600yen for a large.

Oh, you make me want pumpkin pie and pizza too. Pumpkin pie is one of the weird things that I can't believe I like. I hope you find some yummy ones.

And corn pizza is not so bad... Potato is something even I hadn't encountered before, even living in New York. I've seen pasta on pizza before but certainly never potato. I bet squid is somewhere in this town though -- that I wouldn't be too surprised about.

American Pizza is a whole new realm of pizza in itself, Chicago, New York, etc. I love the thin crust New York style :3

I don't like much pies...(I love cake in Japan!)
BUT! I like this shop's pie!!
(actually that shop has "Tart"...is it different from pie?)

I don't know if they have a pumpkin pie(tart) or not...
And I know it's expensive...
I could buy a whole pie with that price
instead of 1 piece of pie here in Canada.
However.. Please try, if you have a chance!

Pumpkin pies. I love pies. ♥ Wow. Pizza is ultra yummy but, I'm trying to cut down on junk food. Maybe I should bring some allergy medicine for you or send some.
