Tokyo Dome with Kyo
Last week, I was lucky enough to be able to visit with one of the people that I really care about, Kyo-chan☆ Kyo and I have been really close for years and years. ♥ She was visiting Japan with some friends, so I stole her from them for a day of romping around the city. Actually, we only went to Tokyo Dome and then to Asakusa, but it was a lot of fun. Lots of catching-up was done. ^^

It was really nice seeing Kyo after such a long time. I really hope that she can come out to Japan again sometime, alone! Then we can spend a lot more time catching up and bonding! ^^ I wanted to steal her for longer, but it wasn't possible because of a tight tour schedule for her. Too bad. ;__;

We went to Tokyo Dome, which is a free amusement park not too far from me. ^^ Well, I say free, in that like many of Japan's amusement parks, it's totally free to get in. (Good thing too, because the JUMP store is in there) It does cost to go on the rides, though, and a LOT. It was 800 yen to go in the haunted house, which I love every time (it was my third time), and 1000 to go on the rollercoaster (which was fun but WAY overpriced). So think of it a little bit like a permanent carnival, I suppose. ^^ With prices way higher than a carnival would ever be..

On the roller coaster, we wanted to be in the front car since it's the most exciting, and were thinking since we were about 6 people back, that we'd have to let people go in front of us. But nope... everyone in front of us was so wimpy that they kept saying that they wouldn't let the workers put them in the front! They looked at us like we were crazy when I said that front was okay. But it is!!! Why would you want to sit somewhere else? O.o;; If you have a choice, always choose the front, right?! The point of a roller coaster is to have fun, right? ^o^ And the front is the most exciting by far!! (Especially on Space Mountain in Disneyland, I tell you. The front is the place to be!!). What do you think?

Kyo with her rail pass:

We love Starbucks. =D This is the Starbucks that I go to a LOT

There were these cool horoscope things up in Tokyo Dome!! \^o^/ We're both Leos, so we posed by them. ^^

There was some kind of "lovers event" being set up at Tokyo dome, so there were hearts... EVERYWHERE. O.o;;

Inside of the Haunted House ("The Thirteen Doors"), they give you this key, and you are supposed to use it to open doors along the way....Creepy!! ^o^ I gave the Key to Kyo because I've done it before, and the one with the key is always the most scared since they have to go first. =D

Outside the haunted house..

Kyo really liked this picture.... I like the idea though it could be taken better of course from another angle. ^^;;

We were experimenting with weird fallic things in the background......

I really like this picture..... Kyo is looking out at the roller coaster from the middle platform.

A few shots of the park (it's not very big).

This is a house that is behind Asakusa temple shopping street. I've always thought that it was really pretty. ^^

And something that I always mean to take a picture of: Boob-shaped puddings!!! ^o^ I'll try to get a better one someday. These have been on sale for as long as I've lived in Japan. XD

The Tokyo skyline... ^^

I had a really good time! <333 This weekend, I'm going to post pictures too, including one of you singing in the karaoke booth! *grins*

I realised that you emailed me again only after I got home because my hw was done, and I didn't log back onto the internet. T_T But next time, we'll hang again, probably for longer!

Yay!! ^o^ Can you email me the full quality pics that you took? ^^ I'll do the same in return to you. =D

Next time, come and stay with me! ^o^ I really think that we should go travelling together sometime, like we talked about. Maybe me, you, and Alsie could go together on vacation somewhere!! Wouldn't that be awesome? ^^

Kyo and I were talking about taking a trip sometime together. Do you want to? I mean, it wouldn't be for a long time, but I think that it would be so much fun to take a trip with just the three of us!! ^o^

Looks like lots of fun! Heh, I like the look the woman in Starbucks is giving you ;^_^

What kind of camera do you have? It seems really nice.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 1st, 2006 03:19 am (UTC)
I have a Konica Minolta DiMAGE X60, in red. ^^ It's a convenient camera for taking around and snapping pictures, very compact and nice quality. ^^ It's not good for professional pictures, but for just casual ones like these it's great. ^^

Hmm Minolta's pretty nice too. I have a Minolta AF 28-80 SLR camera that's served me pretty well. Worth looking into, thanks!

Wow and I thought "Great America" over here was insanely expensive. It looks fun though; I'm not big on rollercoasters. They are pretty though! The Tokyo Skyline looks beautiful...o__o -is inlove with shiny lit buildings-

Gotta say that I'm really digging on the pictures you've been taking as of late. Just reinforces the idea that I need to get a better paying job so that I can go to Japan someday and not just fly over/near it. Heh.

Oh, and have I said that you're a total babe lately? Just thought I'd throw that out there. =D

*snuggles* Thank you!! ^o^ Yes, yes yes you need to get over here to Japan!! It sounds like you could use a nice vacation, and I'm sure that being here might be just the sort of get-away that you need. ^______^

And why thank you! ^.~ But of course I only post the pictures that I think are flattering. ^.~ The ugly ones (lots!) don't see the light of livejournal. =D

When you're enthusiastic about riding them, absolutely. However, when you're afraid of heights, like myself, it's enough that you get me to even get in line. XD

i'm not ready for THAT coaster yet ^_^;

and the reason no one wants to seat in front is that front feels the most slow, and the last seats feel the fastest (sorry for my Engrish)
there are people who afraid to seat in the front, but most of them just want to have more speed.

i went to Hakkejima Sea-Para yesterday and got on that coaster 8 times in row in 1,5 hours, btw ^_^;
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 1st, 2006 05:38 am (UTC)
I disagree, I think that the front feels the fastest, and also the most exciting. Because you can't see anyone before you, so you can't anticipate as well where the coaster is going, and also you can look down very easily. I love the front so much!! ^o^

Lucky, we only got to ride the SeaPara coaster once. ;__; There were too many people later in the day, and we didn't want to have to waste time waiting. -_-

second: oppai purin??? that's just... wierd! i've never seen those! hahaha~

Yuviyuvi on September 1st, 2006 01:01 pm (UTC)
wow.. those are beautiful pictures! Sounds like you had a wonderful time.. and you are right.. you have to on the first row!

Lovely pics. Amusement parks are so fun!
Riding in the first car IS the best place to be... ask any rollercoast enthusiast... it is the visual aspect that makes it more fun...and to others more fearful. Does the park have set priced fares... pay a certain fee to ride all day? I love the idea of a free admission park... so having the prices for the rides be more expansive than norm is to be expected.

Beautiful pictures. Must get batteries for my camera. But everything is so expensive. *__*
