I went with Motoki and Yuuko to Yokohama Sea Paradise. Starting at 10 am, I didn't get home until after midnight!! It was my first time being there, and really exciting!! It's a bit like Sea World, but different too. If you didn't know, I actually love the sea!! The creatures of the sea fascinate me, especially jellyfish (くらげ), seahorses (シーホース), and starfish (ひとで). ☆
There were a lot of rides, my favorite of which was this roller-coaster that jutted out over the sea. So exciting!!!! In the morning there was no wait, and we pretty much went right on, but that night when we came back there was a long line, so we only got to go once.. Yuuko was scared stiff, though! XD;; But I LOVE rollercoasters!! \(^o^)/ ~wooooooooo! There is also a Freefall-type ride that we all loved!! ^O^ I loooooooooooove rollercoasters!!!!
We went on a 15-minute cruise that rounded the island, and it was so refreshing!! It was extremely hot and sunny, but the cool sea breeze felt great, so early in the morning. Then afterwards, we went to check out the Dolphin Fantasy attraction, which was gorgeous, and then on to the aquarium. Soooooo gorgeous!!! ^o^ We watched a really nice Dolphin show, and then shopping, and dinner, and sightseeing.
At this point, my camera died and when we went back into the aquarium, I couldn't take any more pictures with it. But I took pictures with my cell phone, and Yuuko took lots of pics too. ^^ I finally figured out, around the time of fireworks, that I could take full-quality pics with my ketai though, and took some nice ones of the fireworks! ^^
I tried yuzu-flavored ice cream, which was like a dream!!! Next time I go back (and I will!!), I will definitely try the wasabi ice cream, though!! If I had been hungrier, then I would have tried more than one. ^^
And now on to the pictures!!! ^-^ There are so many that I have to post, some from my camera, some from my cell phone camera when I ran out of batteries..
I keep saying that photography is one of my hobbies, and it's true.. ^^;;; Never truer. I take so many pictures! It's okay if people don't like them, because I enjoy taking them and that's why I do it. Also, I do it because I like to be able to look back at them and remember. ^^ I want to have a show one day, though of course these kinds of casual pictures aren't what I would put in a show...... ^^
On the train on the way to the park.. See what I mean about new hair color? I like it, I want to add blonde streaks though. ^^
I loved the sign!
This is the rollercoaster that just over the water (on the other side of the island)
Me and Yuuko on the ferry ^_^
Motoki on the ferry ^_^
Through the porthole
Ahhhh feel the breeze!
I loved the spray of the water churned up by the ferry wheel! =D
Approaching the island again. ^__^
This was the Freefall!!! I wanted to take a picture from the top, but it wasn't allowed to take cameras with you, since they can fall and hurt people.
"Welcome Happy Island" It's the thought that counts. ^^;;
SO COOL looking! Inside here was the aquarium.
The water ride!! It was fun and SUZUSHII but too short!! I soaked my hat in the water before I got off so that I'd have something to keep me cool. =D;;
I thought this sign was funny. *BONK*

EHEHEHEHEHEEEEEE!!!
Tell me you don't think this looks like something other than a fish!! Okay, it's not a FISH, but what does it remind you of? You get three guesses, and the first 2 don't count!! ^o^ *coughs* Below I have a ketai camera version of it, and that's even more *ahem*. =D キラキラ
In the middle, those are alien experiments. Not sure what they're trying to do, but I can't believe they'd show it off to everyone!
Not your average garden-variety snail!
There are fish in this picture, somewhere........
I love seahorses. ♥
This turtle was HUGE!! You can't tell by the picture, but it was HUGE HUGE!!
And at this point my camera died for good. ;__; So ketai pics!
