Thunder and lightning in Shibuya ☆★♪
BEFORE the rain!As you can tell from the fact that I haven't posted quite as frequently, my life has stepped up a few notches in the busy-ness department. Such happens when friends come into town and work ends. ^^ Ahhhhh I had so much fun yesterday!! ^___^

First, I met up in Shibuya with Ani and roamed around Shibuya, window-shopping and generally having a lot of fun. ^^ At noon, Ani and I met up with Miyu, Eda, and Aloni and went off to help them find the theater where Switch wo Osu toki is playing, and while they went to the show (I have tickets for last show Wednesday instead), Ani and I had a lot of fun goofing around and window-shopping.

Naturally, since I forgot my umbrella, it POURED right about 2:00. I'm talking one of those flash-flood kind of pours.. Ahhhh, but it'd been so hot and humid that day that this was a relief and, completely sopping (I was wearing a white tank top... bet Shibuya LOVED that but you couldn't see anything important so it didn't matter to me.. thank you bras! ^^) wet, Ani asked me to introduce her to my friend, the manager of Gain. I thought it would be nice to get a break from the pouring rain, so we invaded on Takashi's shop for quite a while. Chatting with him, makes me realize how much I miss talking with him! We used to talk a lot, this time last year, but my japanese was so limited that we couldn't talk about much. -_-;; Which is probably why we never went out together after the first time. But it's MUCH better now. I enjoy creative people. ^____^ Takashi gave us some of the Blossam socks that are super-expensive, even though I didn't buy anything!! Just for being friends. ^^ He also insisted that I should only buy a pink yukata, not any other color. Because pink is the cutest, he said. LOL Takashiiiiii, you're so gay!! (But he DENIES!)

We had to leave because Ani had to catch a train to the airport. ;____; I really, really wish that you could have stayed longer!!! T___T When you come back to Tokyo, I'll be waiting!! ^o^ After she left, I looked for affordable yukatas that I liked (nothing cute enough yet), and then met up with everyone that had went to see the play. Apparently it's really sad, so I guess that I should bring tissues. Everyone has said that it makes them think a lot. Uwaa. ;_; We were joined by Erin and Michelle and had an extended lunch in Harajuku's crowded Jonathan's restaurant (without working AC, I swear), and then window-shopped a ton around Harajuku! I only bought a few small things because I have to be careful about money, but it was a lot of fun!!! I got some new coconut body spray (better than the body wash I ran out of!) and a copy of the necklace that Ren wears in Nana. =D FUUUUN!!! We topped it off with mango frappuchinos at Starbucks and headed home, super-sweaty, super-tired, but having had such a fun day!! =^___^= A great start!!

Ani, me, and Aloni in front of the Switch poster. ^^

And again.... I like the first one better, which didn't use a flash.

It's a cowboy boot store!! I saw this walking around Shibuya and had to take pictures of the shoes just literally spilling out of it! :D

Freak's store! =D =D =D They were having a sale (on freaks?). XD Also in Shibuya.

Ooooooh dear. XDXDXD This was a giant window display.. Boobs of doom, anyone? XD;; Ahhh lovely Harajuku! XD

I posed in front of the window to make fun of it, but with the spot meter on, it came out like this! XDXD I was just hyper and tired. I plead the fifth!!

This store (an exercise apparrel store of all things) in Shibuya 1-chome wasted no time getting to the point! Smoking = BAD!! (It's true)

At Shibuya station, they were changing the giant pictures up on the site to an advertisement with Kat-Tun on it. They were so high up!! Wow!!

I looooove Captain Jack!! =^-^= Who doesn't? I can't wait for the movie to come out here (next weekend)

The Blossam socks Takashi gave me. ^^ But he made me promise to wear them the next time that I come to see him (I'm supposed to show him my yukata too...).

The new shirt that I bought.... I LOVE it!! I need to get a new bra to wear it though, with clear straps (where oh where can I find this in my size in Tokyo???? o.o) Excuse the dirtyness of the mirror and instead look at the lovely colors of the shirt.... soooooo gorgeous! I think I'll probably wear it a lot this summer. ^^;;

I sure take a lot of pictures lately! ^_^;

ahh sry i just love clothes, etc. so much~~~ (such a dork) :D
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 16th, 2006 03:37 am (UTC)
The do have Victoria's secret, but I can't fit into any of their bras! They're all too small... x.x I've only found one place that carries my size (the largest size they carry, which is pretty sad since I'm not that big compared to most of America), but that place doesn't have anything cute, just functional.. (which is good except in this case)

Thank you!! I love the new top too!! Though actually usually I can't wear anything with an empire waist because it makes me look fat (it usually only looks good on stick-thin people). I love clothes too!! Though I don't buy many because I'm poooooor!! ;o;

Ummm Hi-chan, another question! XD
I'm in Canada but since you're an American and the money is pretty much the same, how much did it cost you to fly over to Japan and back? Or... the other way around. @.@
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 16th, 2006 04:26 am (UTC)
It varies widely depending on where you're flying to and from, and what time of year, what day of the week, etc. The cheapest ticket I've ever seen was $500-something (rare) and the most expensive was well over $1000.

Japan has so many interesting things, and I'm glad you take pictures of a lot of it otherwise we would only know what they want us to know!! The shirt is so cute and it looks great on you! The perfect attire for a fun summer, ne. ^^

GU RA MA ~ ?!
By the way, what in the world does the window with the huge display say on it? From what I see it says "Grandma" written in katana and then become.. becoming grandma... giant chest... !?!

Or maybe it's glamour..? That would make more sense... but it sounds like either when said..

Orange and pink are definitely two colors that look great on you, sis. :D

Ooh... are the fraps juice-based? They (Starbucks) recently introduced two juice-based fraps here in the US. One's tangerine, and the other flavor is pomegrante. They both sound so good~
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on July 16th, 2006 05:32 am (UTC)
I think this frap is based on juice and actual fruit pureed into it? ^^ It's really good!! It's the only frap that doesn't have milk or coffee in it.
