Rock'n Jam II ♪
So, obviously on Friday and Saturday, myself and friends went to see Rock'n Jam II. We saw the first one last year, and it was really good.. but this one was VERY different! It was totally a completely different story and characters from the first one! Aside from sharing a lot of the same actors, there wasn't anything in common with it! XD

I loved it!! Everybody in the cast did an amazing job!!!! I especially want to give props to Nagayama-kun and Nana-chan! They were amazing!! As well as my dear Hide-chan (Matsuoka-kun)!! GOOD JOB!! Amazing job, really!! He did such a good job with his hilarious Mafia-inspired character. "Orrrrrrra~!" XD;;;;; I could see how much he loved what he was doing. It's very inspiring ☆

The story revolved around a gamer (Nagayan) who fell ill while playing a video game, and was taken to a very, very strange hospital. The staff at the hospital, not to mention the patients, were quite odd! There was a mad-doctor (Rolly), under whose direction the hospital was going mad. Nagayan's character called his two gamer/band member friends (Kawano Naoki and Yanagisawa Nana) and had them check themselves into the hospital to confirm was was going on around him. To diagnose Nagayan's condition, the doctor stuck a rather LARGE syringe... where? Oh, up Nagayan's ass! He screamed, but turned out to like it! I think that I nearly DIED at that part, along with everyone else! Oh man, I wish more musicals would involve sticking random things up the butts of cute guys. ^^

The nurses were REALLY hot! Always bursting into rock songs, and wearing lingerie underneath their sexy nurse outfits. (That eventually came off-- the nurse outfits, not the lingerie!!)

The story revolved mainly around Nagayan's character finding out more about the hospital and its patients. Matsuoka's character was named James, and he was a guy convinced that he was in the Mafia and had been shot with a bullet that travelled around inside his body. Today it was in his right leg! XD;; He walked with a crutch on that side, but used it for a fake guitar as often as he did to kneel on it! Aaaaah, so hilarious!!!! Oikawa Ken played a guy who had a hormone imbalance and often acted like a woman... so much so that he stole one of the nurse's lingerie and wore it with fake padding in the chest. XD;;  Morikawa Jirou played an obsessive office worker, who had another 'him' inside of his head that was a playboy. He liked tearing his shirt off and dancing around doing ballet. Date Kouji and Takuya were two school-age boys who spent all their time on stage together, and had varying obsessions. Takuya had a contraption on that supposedly controlled his brain, and spent 99% of his time studying. Date always walked around with a guitar (not always playing), and kept trying to kill himself by using the line from his IV. Apparently Date's character excels at sports too, except for Tennis. He can't play tennis at all. (obvious Tenimyu homage there) He decided, though, randomly that maybe he could play tennis. LOL Obviously a lot of tenimyu fans were in the audience, because they squealed a lot. He also started playing a song by that one guy that they parodied in Dream Live 3rd. But I don't know his name, though I got the feeling that I was the only one in the audience who didn't. ^^;; The beautiful Terada Keiko appeared briefly as the "rock mentor" of the hospital, with a penchant for alcohol, cigarettes, and torturing beautiful boys. She also moonlighted as the co-conspirator with Rolly's evil doctor, leading the rock songs. So, those are the patients!

Together with the sexy nurses, including Sato Miki, the sexy Miata Haruna (yum♥), Takahashi Shiho, Hirota Mai, and Osawa Megumi, the hospital was constantly up in rock songs and strange events. I'm not even sure how to describe the story, but it flowed together in a really fun way, and there was a lot of interaction at the end with the audience, like a concert. There were two encores on Saturday, also, which I think the cast wholeheartedly deserves!!

There were 24 musical numbers, according to the pamphlet. I'll try to type them up later. ^^

I really, REALLY liked the musical! I wish that I could go see it again today, being the last show in Tokyo. But alas, no tickets. But I will cheer everyone on in my head!! I think this was one of my all-time favorite musicals that I've seen in Tokyo! It was full of energy and the story was strange and crazy and fun!! There is going to be a soundtrack, but I don't know about a DVD. I hope so. ^__^

A clip, really? MP3 or video?

There is two songs on the single that they sold at the live. They're not too bad. ^^

LOL You're right, it must be a promo clip or something. XD;; Aaaah Nagayan is wearing that hideous shirt again (thankfully he didn't wear it in the musical!). But yeah, that's their song on the CD. ^^ And it was played several times in the musical.

Mou~~~ Your description of the musical is addicting. I honestly hope that there'll be a DVD for it. It sounds too fun to pass up on! 'To diagnose Nagayan's condition, the doctor stuck a rather LARGE syringe... where? Oh, up Nagayan's ass! He screamed, but turned out to like it! ' *laughs at the mental image*
