Waaaaalking... to Ikebukuro (by accident!)
This is me today, in front of Shinjuku gyoen park. ^__^ Incindentally, the tree in the background is one of the trees that looked like this a week and a half ago. =D

I know that I need more exercise, and I definitely need more sunlight (I'm so pale!). Being very aware of this, and because the weather has been really warm the past 2 days, I've been getting out and doing a lot of walking. It's good for not just my health, but enjoying more of the city. ^__^ I saw a lot of things that I haven't seen before.

It's about a 25-minute walk from my house to Shinjuku station, if I walk slowly and enjoy the scenery. I really like making that walk when it's so pleasant out, and I've been making it a lot recently, a lot of the time at night even though it's a little bit nippy out. So today I decided to take a walk at about 2 pm, towards Kinokuniya. They're having a sale on english novels right now, so I thought I'd check it out..... but then, messaging some people on my pretty pink new ketai, I relized that today was when Animate released a bunch of movie merchandise for the Prince of Tennis movie! Ahh, fun!! ^__^

So, I thought (and I didn't have my map book-- WIN!!), hey why not walk to Ikebukuro from Shinjuku? It's only 4 stops on the yamanote line, it can't be that far, right? Well..... wrong!! ^_^; It took 2 more hours of walking to get there, and another half hour to come around the station and get all the way to animate! Whooooo, quite a walk! ^^; But it was relaxing and refreshing! I didn't get lost a single time, just walked straight down Meiji-dori. It makes me want to get out and walk Mt. Takao again! Maybe I should do that tomorrow... I think I can walk almost forever without getting tired, though..

Ahhh, it was a nice walk! ^__^ I got a reward for my troubles, too.. The new issue of Yuri-hime magazine (which actually has some GOOD stories in it this time, yay!! I read it on the way home), and a Cinepuri folder and pencilboard. ^^ There were stickers and other good things, but I don't need them. I wanted to buy Bleach myu's new DVD too, but I just don't have enough money right now. But I did really enjoy the performance last winter! Ahhhh, tired now, but not tired enough to sleep!! I'm going to draw and watch the latest episode of Bones.

If I lived in Tokyo, I would love to walk like you do.
Although two hours is too much...

Well, I broke my mp3 player a long time ago, so up until yesterday I was walking around without any music. But now my phone can play music, so I'm using it for all it's worth!! ^__^

Walking is great! :D On Wednesdays, my friend and I go on adventures to explore different places in San Francisco that we've never been to before, and we walk everywhere. ^_^ Exercise, exploring, and walking along the shoreline is really awesome~

As long as you're not in a rush, I totally agree that walking is super relaxing. :D

I can't wait until Cinepuri comes out in dvd. T_______T I know its not going to be soon but I want it! ♥ Walking is nice. I'm so glad to live near by two parks. Downy Park and Blanchard park although Blanchard is near my home. Its defintely nice to see the green grass, kids playing soccer and swings and what not, people playing tennis and being active. And our community, we always end up saying: "Good morning!" And have a nice time there. I should take pictures but my camera is broken! T_______T BAH!

If I lived in Tokyo, I would never be in my house. I'd be outside walking all the time!

... I would probably get lost in an instant, though.
