I posted this in the yaoi group too ^^

Naa.. Well, I have been working on tidying up my watercoloring skills.. the more I watercolor, the less talent I find that I have.. ^^;;; But practice helps..

Anyway, it scanned *really* badly (Ytheru's skin is washed out, Alix's is too dark.. o-o.. and not enough saturation..) but you'll get the point.. I watercolored this image as just kind of a teaser for shumea's and mine upcoming yaoi webcomic that we're working on together. The story is long and complicated, and I won't get into it now.. but these are the two main characters. I think of them as being connected by the red string of fate (you know, the one that connects the left pinkies of two people that are destined to be together), hence the red string in the picture.. There is also a lot of symbolism in the picture, how Ytheru is mentally abusive to Alix, and pretty much the one in charge.. I think that despite the bad scanning (the picture in person is rather pretty), it captures the characters and their moods rather well. ^__^

Without further ado, here it is:

Any comments, suggestions? ^__^ Thanks for looking, and look forward to our webcomic one day! ^^

That's quite lovely! It's hard to scan watercolours and have them look right... the colours are always a bit off.

Okay, I am not a yaoi-fan, but that pic looks really good! ^_^ *claps*

I think it came out good. I like the separation of light and dark. It has me intrigued on character development now. How these colors might indicate the relationship between these two.
