Mount Takao take 2
Wednesday (day before yesterday), I happened to have the day off, so I went with some friends and a group of really neat exchange students in Todai University to Mt Takao. I wrote and posted a lot of pictures from Mt. Takao last time, but this time we were there for the leaves changing! Uwaaaa!!!! It was one of the most breathtaking scenes that I've ever seen in my life!! ♥ Even though my camera is dying, I managed a few good pictures of the color!!!

My god.... it's a good thing that it doesn't look this gorgeous all of the time. We wouldn't appreciate it as much!!

The single most gorgeous picture in the world. The color....... Colors like this awaken my soul, it feels like... they make for wonderful feelings of inspiration, tranquility, and excitement all together.....

Near the station, the color was already becoming apparent. ♥ Little did I know that yellow was barely the beginning...

I loved the tranquility of the path that we used to get to the top. We didn't take the trams this time, which made for quite the walk!! :O I actually really liked it. I miss hiking a LOT, now. I really wish that I had the time to hike every week, it would be a GREAT way to keep in shape..

You can see Tokyo over the red trees.... so gorgeous. It's as if Tokyo was just on fire and put out...

My friend, also a big fan of photography, takes a picture of the skyline too. I love how it looks like a human interest picture.

A little overexposed, but it captured the color beautifully. ♥

I LOVED the light here, and tried to capture that, but people kept walking in the picture... *curses at the person in the background* Next time, if I'm in great light like that, I'm going to try capturing a photo from behind the tombstones..

The colors speak for themselves....

It's getting a little later, seeing the sun through the trees..

And deep in the forest, it's really dark and mysterious, even though it's light outside!

At the end of the night, I took a photo of the sunset.... my camera died then, which is too bad because there were some other GORGEOUS photos I wanted to capture...

I need to take more photos of people... I think I'll try to do that from now on.. ^-^

Oh, wow. Those are so gorgeous! It kind of makes me want the leaves to come back, as now, around here, a lot of them are bare. I *love* it when there's multiple colors, for one tree. It's so neat to see.

GORGEOUS pictures, thanks so much for sharing. I am not taking many and it's such a shame. I love the changing colors more than the all-red the Japanese adore. It's as you said: it lifts your soul somehow, ne?

*nodnod* It's the only thing that I like about the changing of seasons. (I HATE the cold) But the beautiful colors really lend a feeling of earthiness to a place. I want to say 'serenity', but it's not really that... they're so vibrant... it's so hard to describe!!

It must be really pretty out where you are. For me, there isn't much foliage in Tokyo so something like this is really rare to see. ;-;

That's really pretty. Everything around here has been dead for about a month. ^^;

I have some pretty pictures of my old house, though. There were a couple of magnificent sunsets... I love just sitting and watching pretty things like that. ^^

Totemo kirei desu yo
It is really beautiful. Although not there physically, can feel the euphoria of seeing different colors of leaves set across the skyline.
