Now Loading.....
Yesterday, mizukiaya and I went to see Wada's stageplay, Now Loading... We were stupid and mixed up where the play was, so we ended up scrambling to get to the right place and being about 20 minutes late. The people who took our tickets gave us the STRANGEST look, especially this cute boy with wide eyes who sounded EXACTLY like Yanagi. I kept thinking that it was him, but there's no way that it was. He didn't LOOK like him, but the voice was eerily similar. And I'm sure that he would have at least said something, though we were understandably in a hurry.

The room this play was in was SMALL!!! I don't think that it could hold more than 100 people. O.o Roughly the same size as when I saw St. Ludopico. But that was great, because in this case, no seat is a bad seat! =D Although we missed about 30 minutes, I was actually pleasantly surprised by the play!! The story was about a group of guys who want to be video game designers and exhibit their new game, "Final Fantasia," at the Tokyo Game Show. There's only one catch: They haven't even started and the show is in a few days! So most of the time, they're scrambling to put together this game's characters, story, plot, etc.

There are a lot of really funny parts, especially starring Yuma, who dressed up like various video game characters during he characters' discussions! For a Mortal Kombat-style game, he had been previously dressed up like Snake, but showed up this time with Snake's bandanna's and.... Alice in Wonderland's dress!!!! XD He did win his fight, though. XD

In the end, their game was too much of a ripoff and subject to legal disqualifications, and they had to scrap it and start over. Awwww, poor boys!!

The play brought back a lot of memories about college. =D Most of my friends were (or still are) studying video game design, and I had to learn a lot of the things involved also in my classes, so I can totally sympathize with the characters! It also had a lot of references to games that I know. All in all, I really enjoyed it! I thought it was a great, and funny play! =D

Today, yume_no_koe and I are going to see Yanagi's movie! ^_^ And Hyoutei myu comes out, so we're going to buy and watch that!! ^___^ I can't wait!!

The promo was everywhere? I only saw it on the D-Boys site, and at their store. But it was such a small theater, I think there were mostly just fans of the actors there, sadly. ;_;
