I ♥ Densha Otoko

Tell me that Densha Otoko 9 did NOT end that way! X_x They're skipping next week, and the next episode is going to be a 2-hour series finale, too (stupid sports, taking it's time slot!!). *dies* Ahhhh man, such a terrible place to leave off on! In better news, though, I squealed in joy so many times during this episode, it was so cute! I even understood a lot of it, though almost the entire dinner conversation went over my head. ^^;

I can't wait to see what the ratings are for the last episode. I bet they'll be HIGH. ♥

PS1- did I mention it before? ^^; Densha Otoko is a currently-airing japanese tv drama, and I've been following it since it started airing a few months ago. It's one of the most hilarious shows on tv, about an otaku who 'saves' a gorgeous girl on the train, and how they fall in love. It's even based on a true story!!!!! ^___^ (and there's a movie, but I haven't seen it, because the cast is different and that's a bit weird...)

PS2- You can find the episodes here: http://www.d-addicts.com/

PS3- Toshiyuki Toyonaga, who plays Kachiro in Tenimyu, is one of the recurring minor characters! ^__^ I fangirl every time I see him! XD (I should post on Tenimyu about this eventually..)

Well, if you like cute Japanese boys, you may like Densha Otoko The Movie. I saw it last week, and Densha Otoko is very cute *__* while Hermes is nice, but not that gorgeous as Misaki (well, I'm Misaki's fan).

so, there is no Densha Otoko next week? (somehow I dodn't get it) ;__;
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 3rd, 2005 12:47 am (UTC)
There are cute ones in the movie? I think that the guy who plays Densha in the movie is really ugly... and the actress, too, isn't as good as Misaki either. ;_; I wish that they'd chosen the same people, you know? Expecially since they're coming out at the same time.
Sheryl Nome: morita-sanpocket_girl on September 3rd, 2005 03:18 am (UTC)
i like movie's Densha much better, then TV's one.
i don't like TV's Densha at all -_- May be, because he reminds me one of my acquantainces ^^;

he is more good-looking than TV's Densha, anyway.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 3rd, 2005 03:28 am (UTC)
LOL I have the complete opposite opinion. XD I know SO many Americans who look almost exactly like the movie's Densha. XD It's the hair.... I can't stand hair like that on boys, because it's SO common in American otaku. X_x Tv's Densha is so cute, in a completely unappealing way. XD

I might go see the movie after all, though. ^_^ I hope that I can understand enough of it! But first I want to see Nana!!

I really like Yamada Takayuki, who plays the movie Densha, but for me he is just the wrong choice. Densha can't be this good looking for the story to work. Granted I haven't seen the movie, but that rubs me the wrong way. The aweful hair isn't just enough to make it believable.

Toshiyuki Toyonaga is in it? How did I miss that? (Must have been blinded by Shun ^^;; ) Ok, I only watched up till episode three now but really how blind can I be?

Which character does he play?

BTW: Do you know who is this guy in the chat community that always reminds me of Inui?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 3rd, 2005 12:48 am (UTC)
Toshiyuki is the guy in the community who always wears the red shirt. ^_^ He's easy to spot-- just look again! ^^

Who reminds you of Inui??
Kiarakaru_chan on September 3rd, 2005 02:23 pm (UTC)
Watched it again. Recognised him ^^

There is this one guy in a brownish sweater with glasses and short dark hair. That's about his resemblance to Inui.
As I'm currently to stupid/not able to do screenshots I can only give you this description. If you look one of the scenes with the chat community you'll spot him ^^

Ahhh, I know which guy you're talking about!!!

XD He does kinda look like him! XDXD

I love this series! But then you already know that. ;) I haven't watched episode 9 yet, since I am waiting for the subtitles, but they are always very good with the cliffhangers.

Hey Hi-chan. I'm still downloading YASHA. LOL So, I haven't seen it yet...but I'm downloading it because the plotline seems so interesting and so good. :D Twins? Ah. I'm a twin myself so basically, maybe I can relate, plus these twins are hot. Especially the hot sexy dark one. :D [drools]

Also I have questions about the program you used to be in "NOVA", a teaching program. My best friend Rin wants to become a teacher one day and live in Japan. However, she is wondering what are the disadvantages of being part of NOVA and whether you are hired right away. Please send information! :D
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 3rd, 2005 12:51 am (UTC)
Well.... They let you know pretty soon whether you're hired or not, and it's only a few months or so before you can leave. That's really good! They also help you along a lot. And the job is super easy, anyone can do it!

The main downside, though, is that they really truly don't care why you came to Japan. So you can't have time off to go to events. They're not willing to work with you at all. Plus they overwork you like crazy. I didn't like them one bit.

Oh god... I saw the book, it was.... scary....
Sherrysherryillk on September 2nd, 2005 11:36 pm (UTC)
I adore this series. I've only seen the first three episodes (subbed so far) and while I was watching it, my roommate started watching it too and we all agree it's the most hilarious thing ever.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 3rd, 2005 12:52 am (UTC)
Actually, all of the episodes except the newest one have been subbed! ^^ They're all on d-addicts ^^
Sherrysherryillk on September 3rd, 2005 12:55 am (UTC)

Okay, I'm obviously out of the loop. Thank you so very much for the heads up!
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 3rd, 2005 12:58 am (UTC)
You just have to download the raws, and then the subtitle files are separate. ^^
Bottomless pit- yo!dare_2_move on September 3rd, 2005 01:15 am (UTC)
i've been wanting to see this! what's it about?
shy_hinatashy_hinata on September 3rd, 2005 03:00 am (UTC)
hee hee...after Aiba's mention of it on his blog, I've been curious. And Toshiyuki is a recurring minor character?! WHEE!!!

Oh, and I just wanted to say that it's kinda frustrating about the whole re-posting of your scans. I hope it gets resolved. *nods* I'm glad that the first girl was nice about it...hopefully the other board will be too, but I've heard bad stories from Ames about some fans on Chinese sites. They can be REALLY pissy.
pikunkarupin on September 3rd, 2005 03:42 am (UTC)
Don't forget that it's based on 2ch true story *LOL* You know how hilarious the posters on Futaba Channel can be XD
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 3rd, 2005 04:16 am (UTC)
Ahhh, I knew that it was based on a true story, but I didn't know that it came from 2ch!!!! Ahhh, that's hilarious! XDXDXD
