Hey, I started watching you a few days ago. ^_^

Anyway, I would love to see some of your artwork, do you have any for viewing up on the net? I know your website isn't up yet, but perhaps you have a deviantart account or something?

Also, out of curiosity, to get a teaching job in Japan, did you have to take a certain course? Such as English? (Assuming we're talking about teaching English that is.)

Oh, and I hope you have a get through work okay today. I don't quite know what's going on but I do know what a challenge work can be if you're having trouble(s) with some people there.

No, I don't have a Deviant art account. ^^; I can't stand the site, actually. ^^;;

Mmmm... getting a teaching job is easy, actually. ^^ If you want to work for NOVA, that is. You just need to have a bachelor's degree, in any subject. (That's if you're from the US.. if you're from another country the terms are different ^^)

Good luck! ^_^ Nova's website is: www.teachinjapan.com

Haha, do you mind if I ask why you don't like DA? (Though I'm sure I could make a pretty few good guesses.)

And thanks so much for the link. ^_^
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 27th, 2004 03:28 pm (UTC)
Actually, because it's sooooooooo slow. It takes forever to load pictures, and when it does, I hav to click on them a ton of times to get to the correct size of pictures. It's badly set up and hard to navigate.. plus, it's just so superfcial.. ^^;
angel2chaos on November 27th, 2004 03:37 pm (UTC)
Ah I see, then my guesses were correct. Lol. - I have dsl, so slowness isn't too bad for me, but I draw really small and it's a miracle to get people to click on my drawings, let along reclick them to view the actual size so they can see the details. (I've literally put "FULL VIEW" in the title of the picture and then again in the description and still no on will take my word for it. -_-')

And sorry to keep bombarding you with questions, but do you know if the page from the link you gave me, is down? When I tried it, it wouldn't load up. (I also tried to add a "g", so it's teachin(g)japan.com, but still no luck.)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 27th, 2004 03:42 pm (UTC)
It does look like they're down right now. That's odd. ^^; There is no g in the address, that's the right one. ^.^ 'teach in japan'

I have DSL here and cable back at my old place, but still DA has ALWAYS loaded too slow for me. and I forgot to mention their incessant, annoying ade.. X_x
angel2chaos on November 27th, 2004 04:11 pm (UTC)
Ah, hee, I get it now. (So I'm not that smart. =p)

It's nice you have dsl, my friend who went to school in Japan for a year, had to use the phoneline for most of the people she home-stayed with. She made it sound like dsl wasn't as common there as it is in North America..Or you know, she could have just been really unlucky.

Ade = ad(s)? Or an abbreviation for something else? (Er, I guess that's another a question, you don't have to answer that if you don't want. Lol.)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 27th, 2004 04:25 pm (UTC)
Yeah, I meant 'ads' ^^;

I think your friend was just really unlucky. ^^;; Dialup is actually lot more expensive here than cable or DSL, because on the phone lines, they charge you per minute connected, whether it's a local call or not. ^^;;;; It sucks. (Then again, cable's totally the way to go for me =D)
angel2chaos on November 27th, 2004 06:26 pm (UTC)
Oh really? That's interesting, and hey, it's a good excuse to get the faster internet. ^_^

If you're having trouble with pop ups and ads in general, I suggest downloading the Maxthon browser http://www.maxthon.com/en/index.htm . It has a filter that you can turn off and on, that eliminates all that annoying stuff. (It's actually one of the best browsers around, I highly recommend it.)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 28th, 2004 02:53 am (UTC)
Oh nono, not pop-up ads at all. ^^; I hate them, but I've never felt the need for a blocker because sometimes it's designed into the site..

It's the fact that sometime they have an ad, and you have to click on a link to get to the drawing.. even though I've already clicked on one link. O_o..
