How'ls Moving Castle, also known as ハウルの動く城 in japanese theaters.

I went to see it with aalfonso last night! ^_^ Wow, seeing a move in a language that I 99% don't understand is a really interesting experience! I did catch the gist of the plot of the movie, though, and think that it measured up nicely to the other Miyazaki movies! =^__^= I won't say anything about the plot here, but I highly recommend seeing it! ^___^

Plus.............. Wow, did that movie have FANSERVICE for girls!!!!! Howl is a VERY platinum-blonde Bishie, who just so happens to run around in only a towel for quite a while! O_O Me, I was drooling! Esp when he lost the towel! Oh yeah, fanservice! There is also an.. interesting scene involving a staircase, a very old lady, and a lady who weighed about 600 pounds. O_o Kind of.... disgusting.

Okay, I have to admit that the end confused me. ^^;; I think that I need to read the book now ^.^ I bet that Kino will have it! =D

PS: The new Arina Tanemura artbook is the most BEAUTIFUL thing I've ever seen!! O_O It's mostly Fullmoon (yay!!!) but it also has a bit of KKJ and TSK. Gorgeous. Just, gorgeous! O_O

Lucky!! I've read the novel, and it's pretty cute - you can totally tell why Miyazaki decided to animate it. (And man, that's like the highest honor ever for an author, to have freaking Miyazaki make a movie based on it!) I can't wait to see it. I've seen the trailer though, and it had me squealing about how perfect Sophie, Howl, and Calcifer looked. Eee!

Oddly enough I sort of understand the experience. I went to see Sen To Chihiro when I was in Japan in 2001, because at the time it wasn't clear it would be licensed. It was an interesting experience seeing it, and I managed to get a lot of the plot, but not all of it.

In the book, Howl is supposed to be VERY bishie and vain, so it makes sense that he is such in the movie. Though personally, I like Howl better with his black hair. The sequel is not as good. >.<
