And now, for pictures.. I have a lot built up. I'm going to start with the ones from my cell phone. The pictures are tiiiiiiiny. X_x ::makes grabby hands for Winnie's phone:: -
This is what it looks like from the balcony at my office in Seijogakuenmae. During the last typhoon. XD And then after the typhoon...

The party... That's random section of our group in the first pic, Joe in the second pouring drinks, and then Alysha, Winnie, and me in the last one.

And now.. for the big piccies from my camera. They're mostly tokyo-houses and city pictures. Some of which I've taken today and some of which I've had for a few weeks.

Whee, sushi bar! <333333 We enjoyed muchly, as you can tell! And the little wooden box with green stuff outside of it... we thought it was powdered wasabi. ^^;;;;;; But it wasn't..... it was green tea. Green tea, btw, tastes NASTY in soy sauce. *coughs*

The funniest graffitti ever... from Shibuya. XD

I love how this pic of a Shibuya building turned out... <3

A.. Shinjuku street? I think..............

Akihabara from Eda's and I's great outing last week! XD

Shinjuku is decked out in Xmas lights already =^__^= It was very festive!

Now, from today....

This is the view from immediately outside of my house. ^_^

My door plate. XD Yes, I took a picture of it. No, I don't know why.

On the way out.... still on the 4th floor.

Now.. walking down my street ~~ <3

This is the elementary school next door to us. <3

And more of the walk to the station ^_^

XD If you look in the mirror, you can see me! XD

A signpost. Whatsit say? I have no idea. Yet I walk by it EVERY day. XD

Okay, so I couldn't resist.. japanese kids are sooo cute!! <3

The sign in front of Mizunokuchi station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi train line (this is one of the ways I can transfer to Shibuya)

Some cute signs inside Shibuya station!! <3

This is the intersection next to the famous Hachiko square. =D Note the NOVA building. That's the branch that I trained at. There are two large schools in Shibuya. NOVA's a familiar sight here in Tokyo... they're litereally ALL over. X_x

Shibuya <3

And finally... Shibuya's Mandarake branch!! <3 Much love!!!

Current Mood: guess!

Yay, Japan pics!! Keep 'em coming! Makes me miss Tokyo lots ... you must stay until I get back there -- I'm working on the application to return *right now.* Keep your fingers crossed for me, will you?

Hugs, Shannon

Yay! More pictures!
Japan looks so nice. I wanna go! :3

I have an idea of why you took a picture of your door plate: 404. As in "Error 404". XD

whoa, typhoon pictures :3

You are very pretty~!! ^^ The party does seem crowded but fun.

LOL @ graffiti. xD; My neck face? ..it is NOT ugly *hurt*

the sign says:
『ニクニ』 「オゾン水製造装置」 www.nikuni.co.jp (etc) [nikuni -- ozon mizu seizou-souchi -- www.nikuni.co.jp]
which from what I understand means 'nikuni' "ozon water production equipment" ... XD ehm.. yeah ;;

Seems like so much fun and pretty stuff, with random houses... they look so abstract and kool.

To sum it up: POST MORE 8D

Wow, it looks like yer neighbourhood is very western-style in terms of the houses!

How come there's no pictures of you??? Besides the tiny one in the mirror ;)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 22nd, 2004 05:02 pm (UTC)
XD Because I'm the one with the camera! There was nobody to take a picture of me. T_T

BTW the funniest graffiti I saw was on a wall in Kyoto. it said "FACK YOU". I almost died laughing at that!

I love that Mandarake
That Mandarake has some great classic cels for those of us who are a tad bit older...including some Miyazakis.

I missed out on a Akazukin Chacha - Magical Princess cel that was up for silent auction. The sad thing is that I would have glady topped the price for the cel as paid.

The reality is that there were very very few cels of Magical Princess. I have a ton of Chacha cels.

But yeah, that place is huge. I think I went to a Mr. Donut or something across the street cause I needed a place to sit. I guess I'm way too lazy. LOL.

Ooooh! Sugoi!!!! So pretty! <3 <3 xoxox I would be so out of place in Japan, I'd be afraid to wander around, afraid people would stare at the scary american foriegner. ; Eek. But those places look like so much fun and your place looks so nifty and it looks so nice there! So jealous! Mou! I wish I was there with you!! Glad you got your dream to be there! XD

Should post more at some point too.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on November 22nd, 2004 05:05 pm (UTC)
Oh!! If you ever want to come and visit, my place is totally open to you! <3 Free room! <3 ::luvs:: Sure, the japanese people do stare at you a little bit, but it's no big deal. ^_^ There's 7plenty of foreigners in the bigger touristy areas of the city, and even in the others I see them ALL the time.

One of these days, I'm going to just get a spray can and spray "Have a nice day." on to the wall and see if anyone notices the true meaning.

I think that sign is an advertisement for the Nikuni centrifugal pumps. They're used in industries and homes for A/C, bath, etc. water pumping and heavy industry needs. yeah.
