This sucks.. I've been battling a really bad sickness for both of my days off. I know that I mentioned that I've been feeling under the weather recently, but it all hit hard on Monday afternoon. All night I was in intense pain while I loaded myself up on fluids and soups.. This morning wasn't that great either, but during the day I gradually started to feel a little better. I was about 60% better, when suddenly I took a nosedive down into the bad area again.

I was hoping against hope that I'd feel better by Wednesday, but I highly doubt it. I wouldn't be able to survive work even if I feel half as terrible as I do now... Argh, I hate calling in sick. I used to do it all the time because I didn't like my jobs all that much, but as much as I complain about this one, it's a pretty good job. Plus I get paid about $20 an hour..  And man, I don't want to call in sick.. did I mention that? I feel like a failure when I do.... This will be my first time with this job..

I'm really, really sick. X_x *sighs* We'll see how I feel in the morning, I suppose... Symptoms: EXTREMELY sore throat. Pounding headaches, dizziness. Every muscle in my body aches acutely. And coming-and-going nausea. I haven't thrown up yet, but I've gotten that feeling where I'm about to several times in the last hour.

Sorry to spam lj so much recently. ^^;; But I've been at my computer/ in bed (they are the same) for the last day trying to get better... s'not working. X_x

Sounds like you picked up somethin' bad hunny. *huggles* Kep drinking fluids and such. Have you tried the drugstore yet to get any cold and flu medicinde? I find that DayQuill works WONDERS on that kind of stuff. But I don't know if Japan has DayQuill... *scratches cheek*

If you call in sick, try to buy some drugs (bum money off your roomamtes, threaten them with contamination!!) There is a drug called Paburon which works pretty well as an all-purpose flu medicine (I bought some last January when I was sick as a dog). you can just say "Paburon onegai shimasu" because it's sometimes behind the counter, or ask the staff in the drug store. Hopefully they'll give you the kind for adults ^^ you have to take 3 pills at each meal, *with food*.

I don't think there is Dayquil in Japan, but I'm not really sure..
