I've gotta learn to bring my camera everywhere with me.. I keep missing good photo opportunities ^^;;;;; Wah. Anyways, I think that Sundays are my favorite work days after all. First off, I get the whole house to myself at least an hour before I have to leave for work. ^^ Then, usually Sundays are really really slow, PLUS there's often a few no-shows, and we get paid more to work on Sundays. ^__^ Slow, relaxed days, they're usually a really good sendoff for my two days off.

Yesterday night was a lot of fun. ^_^ I hung around Mizonoguchi with aalfonso. We ate dinner at a japanese restaurant, and then walked around the giant station/community area. There were all kinds of bands playing! <3 There were a few really good boy bands, one of whom had free fliers and CD demos that I snagged (yay!!! They're also having a concert in a few weeks that I'm debating going to), and there was one girl singer/keyboardist who was really amazing! We both bought her little CD from her. I can't wait to listen to it. ^__^ Then later on Andrew kept pushing me to practice my japanese but I was too embarrassed. I can't speak enough to hold on a conversation at all. So he called over that singer and we both tried to talk to her in japanese. There was a lot of "chotto matte" while we looked things up in the book. ^^;; But she was really really nice, she even wrote in our notebooks and gave us her email. I haven't had a chance to try and decode the message yet, but I will later. I might try writing her too, if I'm brave enough. ^.^;; She can't speak a word of english though..

I miss Phoenix. It's kind of a scary feeling.. but I've been looking at colleges for next fall and am debating ASU from a list of possible choices. Does anyone know if they have a good archaeology program?

I have at least two friends who've been through the anthro dept. ... one of them I can ask next Friday for you if you want. The other one has an lj - lordofdark if you want to ask him.

I believe ASU does have an okay archaeology program, but I could be wrong. Here's a bit of info I found. I can't get into the ASU site ATM for some reason. :/

It only makes sense to have Japanese food some times as you ARE in Japan.
