Mada mada life-uu
Scared spitless.. well, that's me at the moment. ^^;; The nerves finally hit this morning, full-force. It went a little something like this: Nerves: "OMGWTFareyoudoing??" Me: "Going to Japan tomorrow.." Nerves: "Youcan'tdothatalone!! *inserts lots of scary things to say about Japan*" Me: "...." *small voice* "Still going, can't stop me.."

And that's final.. I'm excited about going, but I'm also scared. That's a rare occurence, but contrary to popular belief, I do have a solid head on my shoulders and yep, I'm worried. I know everything will be fine, but I still have those 'oh shit' moments. They'll pass.... Nova's going to pick me up at the airport, and I'll be fine.. the computer will be fine, it won't matter that I have so little of an idea of the language.. I'll be fine... I can't wait until I'm settled in my new apartment for a few days, though, knowing that everything's fine. *nods* >.> Especially my poor computer. *hugs it* Please please please survive...

Yesterday I went on a mini-shopping spree for myself to kind of... I dunno. But I have no idea how I'll fit everything into my suitcase. I bought season 3 of Queer as Folk, because every time I go into a store that has it, I eye it for 20 minutes. I figured that I owed it to myself. I also bought the first DVD for Invader Zim, and the first of Weiss Gluhen. I wanted more anime, but just couldn't find the ones that I wanted the most.. >.>;; Then I went and bought all of the things that I'll need that might be hard to get over there, like socks and underwear. Everyone says that it's nearly impossible to get underwear in American sizes in Japan, so now I have plenty. ^^ And I've bought way too many books while I've been here... X_x Wanna.. bring.. *makes grabby hands at Negima*

..... I think I'll watch some PoT later on today, right before I pack up the 'puter.. It's calming....

Don't worry, Japan is a country where a woman can wander the night streets and feel nothing is wrong. Heck, I wandered Tokyo at 11 with a friend. Sure we were talking in English to fend off the rapscallion, but yeah, no danger.

Oh and DVDs and Videos cost an arm and a leg over there. Get them used or ask for American copies from Amazon or something.
