My address in Japan! ^_^
I just received my address in Japan, and I have noooooooo idea where it is! XD Whee!

Here it is. Does anyone have any idea where that is, or if there is a mapquest for Japan (in english?) ^.^;;

#404 Grace Colonel
4-2-7 Kuji

Station: Kuji
Line: Nanbu

Yeah, no clue there. XDD I looked up Kanagawa Prefecture and it was in the Tokyo area... otherwise, no clue. XD But it'll be an adventure for sure! My apartment is going to be REALLY expensive! O_O But it's affordable so it's alright! I'm just not used to paying so much! O_O (72,000 yen/mo, utilities included)

Woo! Hey, I just met a girl who's going to university in Tokyo! She's studying pharmacology, and is doing an internship thing in Viroqua but going back to Japan on Wednesday. Her name is Yoko. I'll ask her if she knows where that is or how to get there! :) Where are you going to be coming from to get there? A train station? Airport?

Yep, they gave me directions on roughly what lines I'll take on the train to get there. NOVA is going to guide me more in detail when I get to the airport. ^_^

Look at Kawasaki, which is supposed to be your city, but you're closer to Chofu (to the left). You're in a neighboring city of Tokyo. It looks like a lot of American companies like Takatsu-ku. I've traveled the trains in Tokyo many times, so I'm against giving you tips!

Err, make that NOT against giving you tips. XD

LOL I guess that answered that! XDDDDD

Thanks! ^__^ That reallly helped, now at least I have a general idea! ^^ Why are you against giving me tips? XD

aw, you`re really lucky. You`re close enough so that you can visit Tokyo whenever you want, but not close enough so that you are pretty much mauled by tens of thousands of people everytime you step out of your house. Sounds like you have it made! You`re right near the beach, too. When do you shove off?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on August 28th, 2004 01:10 am (UTC)
I leave here on the 15th of September, and arrive on the 16th in the afternoon!! ^__^ I'm so excited!

Am I anywhere near you? We so have to get together and hang out!!

I wish! I live on Kyushu, the southernmost island, out in the country smack dab in the middle of nowhere. I would love to visit Tokyo, but it is damn expensive to take a trip in Japan. I could maybe set up something around christmas time, when will you come to Japan?
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on August 29th, 2004 10:10 am (UTC)
I leave on Sept. 15th, so I'll definitely be around come Christmastime! ^_^ You're more than welcome to come and visit! ^^

Ooh! You're not that far from me, actually (^_^) You're in the northern edge of Kanagawa prefecture, which is just south of the Tokyo metro area. I live by Ogikubo station on the Chuo line, which is 4 stops (usually ^^) west of Shinjuku.

And my new apartment's rent is more than that ... utilities *not* included. (But so close to Shinjuku ♥)

Oh and here:

Find the green ring which connects Shinjuku and Tokyo stations - that's the Yamanote line, which surrounds central Tokyo. The orange line which goes through the centre and out the left side is the Chuo line. Your line is yellow and starts a little further west on the Chuo line, at Tachikawa to be exact. (Tachikawa has a small Animate which often has goodies which sell out at the bigger branches ^o^)
