I'm back from the whirlwind of Anime Expo. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'll write a lot about it, as I really don't feel like it... but it was a nice getaway.. sorta.. There were some problems, but overall I loved getting away. Now I can relax a bit (while looking for work and arranging where I'm going to move at the end of the month) and spend time with alsie too. ^^ I'm already thinking of masquerade possibilities for next year. The masquerade is fast becoming my thing, I suppose.. it was always the event that I was most interested in at the con. I <3 the masquerade, and the other petshop group rocked! I hope that they email at least one of us with copies of the pictures that they took.. plus I wouldn't mind exchanging sewing tips!

It was nice seeing you again alie_n, tsuki_fru, sojuku, aomori, and kyofujimiya! (though the last was far too brief!) It was nice meeting you, onbrokenwater, though it was too brief as well! (Sorry, that day was crazy, with being stopped for pictures every 5 seconds and sometimes less)

Mmmmmmm... Seki's handwriting is living in my backpack now. =D~~~ And pics on my camera... OMG I thought he was kinda blah looking before, but his hair was bleached blonde-orange... He looked friggin' HAWT! I have a major fetish for asians that bleach their hair and it gets that orangey color... always have. I discovered that way back when the Kinki Kids did that and I fell in love. ^^;; S'why I keep trying to dye my hair reddish, I think.. I want to get the courage to go for an orangey color like that.

My wallet is still in pain, and I hardly bought a thing. ^^;; The dealer's room had some enticing finds the last day, but I just couldn't afford them. I ended up buying a pair of kitty ears for $15 from Artist's alley instead, and that was the most extravagant thing that I bought. ^_^;;; But they were worth it, because they're beautiful. <3 <3 <3 Oh well, it's good that I didn't buy much of anything, because it means that I've managed to curb my spending habits. Oh, it's a hard learned lesson, that's for sure, but something that I needed. Now to get on the job hunt while Alsie is still here. I have a few leads that I need to follow up on.

Mada mada dane. I'm not tired at all. I slept about an hour on the way home at the very end, and I suppose that rested me. But I'll try to get some sleep here in a minute. Contrary to popular belief, I wasn't sleeping the rest of the time, only being really quiet, because I didn't really want to talk. Funny, though, how many times people tell other people you're sleeping when you're not. =P But like I said, wasn't in the talking mood. It's been a long time since I've felt that way.

I missed Tokyopop completely this time, which makes me sad. I wanted to say hi to Jake. But it was the fault of the most poorly organized masquerade ever. I hope they get their asses in gear for next year, so when I return from Japan I can blow them all away with my awesomeness. =) I can't wait! I'm sure that Japan will have some neat places to buy exotic fabrics and all. Alie had some ideas for possible cosplays, so we'll have to start looking into them and others soon. =) Cosplay=yay!

Saa... I will leave you with a picture of Tomokazu Seki-sama now. The rest of the Expo pictures will come later.

I took a better picture, but it was with Fruey's camera, so I'll have to wait to get a return on it. It should be KAWAII because I got him to pose! =)

By the way... based on what Seki said at his panel, I think they're going to announce the Fruits Basket animated sequel pretty soon now. He said that he has recently been working on a highly-anticipated sequel, and if I had to guess (especially at the way that they were promoting Furuba), that's the sequel he's talking about. Yay! It's been rumored for a while now. ^^

Oh, and I have to see Tenjou Tenje now.. because the character that they showed in the Seki panel looks like a HOT grown up Nagi.... and that makes me drool!

If you're into fighting anime, you'll like Tenjou Tenge... It's mostly fighting and power struggles. ^-^;

You'll do great next Masquerade, hopefully the fabrics in Japan won't be that expensive though.

And is your icon from your trip ^^;;? I want to ask.. but I'm afraid to... ^^;

LOL... Actually, it's from Dusty's trip here. That was a restaurant downtown that we just had to stop and take pictures at. ^^;;; XD

XDD Yeah, I'm really really tall. ^_^

The delay with the masquerade was because there was a girl who'd sent in her music, and the CD she'd sent in was blank... so we all had to wait while she hunted up a new blank CD and downloaded her music off of the internet and then they burned it to a blank CD. ^_^;;;;;; Of course, they didn't tell her that they didn't have her music until about 20 mins before the masquerade was supposed to begin. ^^;; Dur... >.>;;
