Yosh!!!
Okay, I'm convinced.. completely and utterly convinced. I've wanted to move to Japan for years now.. Many things have stopped me, though, like unfamiliarity, language barriers, and of course, being just plain scared.. But as I've grown more and more interested in the culture, I've wanted to move more and more...

Well, talking with shumea-chan tonight sealed the deal. I talked with her a little bit about her experiences when she lived in Japan.. and while the rumors about japanese and their morbid fascination with gaijins are apparently true, it sounded so interesting!!! ^_^ Also, I knew that they were in need of english teachers over there, but didn't realize that it was this dire... I'm pretty sure that I could get a job doing that until I learn the language better.. after that, I want to get into the field that I love most!! Anime! Anime is a driving passion for me, and I would love nothing more than turning my comics into anime!!! Waiii!! *squeals*

Anyways, Shumea is moving to Japan permanently this coming fall, and invited me to go with her!! =^_^= *feels so special* I would certainly like to do that, but I am not scheduled to graduate until the following March... -_-;; But that's not completely hopeless! I am fairly sure that if I added only one class to my schedule every semester, I would be able to graduate early!! If not, then I will at least have a built-in guide when I do go!! This is soooo exciting! Barring some kind of disaster, expect to see me in Japan by 2004!!! ^__^ And Brenda said that she was interested in going as well!! Ooooh!! I would have to drag Ron, and try for Lauren and Rachel too! If I can convince them =)

*yawn* I'm soooo tired and I have to get up early... so oyasumi!! I'll think more about this tomorrow. =)

Are you gonna stay there permanently?

Re:
Actually, I dunno... Probably not.. I was thinking to stay for just a year, but it could happen that I'll fall in love with the country. ^_^

Hehe, good luck... I personally would never want to live in Japan, but I RABIDLY want to visit. And I mean RABIDLY. ;) It'd kill my wallet completely, but oh man. *drools over the idea*

Hmm I have a friend in Osaka and one in Hiroshima that both want Nav and me to visit. And Reina and Mari-chan both want to drag us back when they visit their family over one of the vacations. If I wasn't so dang busy I would go right off and take a major tour. Plus Michi is there now in an exchange and seems to be having a blast (though awfully busy). The have the JET program at ASU to send students over and teach english... now I just have to find time after next semester when I finish the first major. Before starting the second one. X_x That's the problem with starting up my freelance business. I wouldn't want to start it then leave the country. That would suck.
