Things to do today:

-beat Bush over the head with a dull stick

Hmm? Whazzat? Oh yeah, stupid Bush making stupid mistakes again. *shrugs* I heard that he's coming to speak to college students in AZ. I would imagine that that would include ASU.. Has this happened yet? If it hasn't, I'm going to find out where the protest (I'm sure there will be one) will be and get myself to it. Don't let it be said that I don't stand up for what I believe in. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go lobby for equality for marriages and whatnot.

Now, people all over my lj friends list have been making long angry posts about the marriage stuff, so I won't clutter with my own. Let's just say that I thin marriage should be between two people of ANY gender and leave it at that. Leave your fundamentalist Christian attitudes at home, darling president. (No offense to Christians in general. I'm talking fundamentalist Christian values, not the progressive ones that most of my Christian friends have) They don't belong in the workplace. Maybe you should have been a minister in a backwater town instead. After all, that's probably what you would have been if your daddy hadn't carved the way for you. We're gonna show you some real opposition!

Hmm.. I haven't seen anybody mention the prison thing, though.. Doesn't anyone think that's a little strange? That he wants to spend all this money to release criminals from federal prisons and rehabilitate them? O_o I know it's great if you've reformed and all, but honestly (and I realize this may go against other people's views, so I apologize in advance. I am not speaking against criminals as people), but honestly, I would much rather see that kind of money go other places. Into education, for example. No, not abstinence education (good idea but dude, kids are gonna have sex anyways), and maybe into creating new jobs. If our economy is so strong, that means that we can support a lot of new jobs. This, helps everyone. I for one have noticed that a lot of the parks in central Phoenix look like crap. I'm sure that a few jobs could be made to maintain them. And if he needs help thinking of more, I'd be more than ready to help. I have a ton of ideas!

So, after that's done, other things to do today:

-make myself get dressed
-Finish WD webpage, start dividing up summaries
-upload said webpage and make sure that it works
-finish CK webpage and upload comic
-while I'm at it, finish first comic. XD Needs lettering
-work on second comic
-Ponder about moving to Ireland. Check out castle prices
-buy chocolate bars. The nummy ice cream ones!
-get on AIM tonight.. promised some people that I would.

Class last night was fun. My animation idea is coming along nicely and I get to use digicel!!!! ^-^

Just MCC

I'm all for inmate rehabilitation. Get them rehabilitated and get them out so we don't funnel money into the prison system just to let them sit there until they're released UN rehabilitated.

MUST GET READY! ::runs off::

He's coming to MCC, then? When I that? I'll rally there too, it's about the same distance from me!

And where is Schu's post? *peers* You promised one! Well, said one anyways. I'm wearing your favorite kind of sleeves today! XD
athenazandrite on January 21st, 2004 07:53 pm (UTC)
Well... I was going to wait for tommorow so he could talk about car buying. ^^;; mergl. How much influence will Schuldig have in helping Nagi choose a vehicle? He suggests not getting leather seats because they are a bitch to clean the blood out of.

There were protesters out on the south east corner of Southern and Dobson.
Signs: Bush's plan is the wrong prescription.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on January 21st, 2004 07:58 pm (UTC)
XD I wish that I had known so that I could be there!!!!

Hmm.. I had a picture of the car that Nagi wanted.. but I can't find it.. =/ It was some really expensive foreign car, I think Kyo knows what it was called so I'll have to ask her. Schu can probably turn him off leather, and have a basic influence. He will refuse flat out to buy a red car.. I was thinking silver or some other more demure color, because red is just too flashy.

YEAH!!! Whoo *cheers*

"-Ponder about moving to Ireland. Check out castle prices"
Let me know what you find! XD

Curses, Bush is way to close to my home if he goes to MCC, hell, he's too close anywhere in AZ, go home you dope!

If you move over here, make sure you check how much it would take to RENOVATE the castle too. x_x Theyre damn draghty.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on January 21st, 2004 04:54 pm (UTC)
You live in Ireland? Wai!!! What's it really like over there? I heard that Artists don't have to pay taxes! ^^;
Chibi Kitsunechibik on January 22nd, 2004 04:17 am (UTC)
Its wet ^_^() I wouldnt suggest living in Dublin, too many knackers -.- Countryside is nice though. Galway and Kerry... I dunno about the artist thing O_o Maybe... the government here sometimes do things like that to encourage whatever it is they want to encourage x_x Like, if you build a factory on the west coast you dont have to pay taxes for five years, cuz theres not much industry over there, its all near Dublin *shrugs* Stuff like that.

He's supposed to be over at MCC around five. I agree, I hate what he said about how marriage should only be between a man and a woman. It just isn't fair.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on January 21st, 2004 04:56 pm (UTC)
Around five? Damn it's already pst five! Curse me and having to suddenly get tired and take a nap in the middle of the day!!! ^^;;;; I wonder if there were any protests? Maybe there still are.. *wonders if she can find and join them*

What I've LOVE to do is take a good (girl)friend and walk over to him, kiss her right in front of him, and ask for his blessing for marriage. Because I love her, of course.
Jen-Neko-Hanjennekohan on January 21st, 2004 05:04 pm (UTC)
You could probably still get over there, but the parking will be crazy. Teachers were informing students to get there hella early because there will be no place to park. By the time you find a parking space it will probably be over with. LOL That would be the best!
athenazandrite on January 21st, 2004 07:54 pm (UTC)
His speech was at 3:50 O_o

::tells jamie to read her journal more often to get information like this::
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on January 21st, 2004 08:00 pm (UTC)
I was taking a nap at three.. in any case I would have needed a girl friend who was willing to kiss me to go and make the impact that I wanted. -_- There just wasn't enough time. I wish that I had known at least yesterday that he was going to do this.. after all, knowing the same day is hardly enough notice to get everyone together. X_x
athenazandrite on January 21st, 2004 08:20 pm (UTC)
Yeah... he never would have seen you anyway, they keep him pretty well quarantined (for good reason, I wouldn't be surprised at assasination attempts) He was in the center of campus and they were on the outskirts. This and being gay in mesa is like taking your life in your hands O_o I remember high school all too clearly.

Must get sleep tonight.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on January 21st, 2004 08:23 pm (UTC)
LOL Was your high school that bad? O_o Dude. I guess that I just went to a more accepting school.. there were a few people that were publicly gay and I never heard of anything bad ever happening to them.

I don't care if it takes my life into my hands. If they want to try and beat me up for being gay or whatever, I'll just take them to court and kick their asses. Assuming that I survive. But I would do it in a second nonetheless.
