Nyao! I just finished reading the first english volume of Gravitation!! =^___^= It was.. it was so much better to be able to read it in my own language! *sniffles happily* There were a few things thatI thought were odd (the referencing of bands we know... like Depeche Mode that weren't in the original to my knowledge. Then there was some that annoyed me, like spelling Tohma's name "Toma.." After seeing all those fansubs, etc it seemed weird.. but I can live with it, it's okay. The one flaw, major flaw, that really irked me was that they changed NG Studios to NRG Studios.... O-o Why? Ummm.. NG stands for Nittle Grasper.. What the crap does NRG stand for? O-o? I pulled out my japanese copy of volume one and looked up the references to be sure, and there in english letters they say N-G.... Ara.. I think I'll write to Tokyopop and ask them what's wrong... why the big change, was it an accident, or does it means something? O-o

*ahem* yes.. But I am extremely happy to finally read it! All I had were crappy scanlations that had *really* bad grammar. ^^; *bounces* Gravi for meeeeeeeeeee!!! ^_________^

One more thing. I am going to complain. WHY can't Anime Expo, the biggest anime con in the country, get the cool guests? *scoffs* Too wrapped up in commercialism, I suppose... I would have died to have the english VAs for Gravi at Expo!! X-x.

Wheee, I need to write many an RP entry. ^__^ But before then, I will go eat! *nods* Oh yes, and I read Forbidden Dance #1! It was surprisingly good!!! ^__^ It's a must-read for me from now on! I looooove that sort of story! ^^ Even though I'm not all that into dance. ^^;

... was it only this morning that I turned in that architecture midterm? O_o Seems like so long ago since I took a nap afterwards. ^^: This is why I hate sleep and the insatiable need for it. ^^;

Yeah I noticed Tokyopop sometimes "Americanizes" things in their translations. I've been seeing similar in my copies of Petshop of Horrors. Meh. I mean it's not a super big deal- commercially translated manga is good...but I'll admit I'm a bit of a purist so it annoys me to see obvious changes like that from the original Japanese. Ah well.

I will admit though that I'm impressed with Tokyopop for releasing yaoi mangas like Gravi and Fake.

I agree! The only person I was interested in seeing at AX this year was Nobuteru Yuuki, but I couldn't get up at the crack of dawn to see him. = '
