Deculture 2~~~
Wednesday, I had to be in the city anyways for a dentist appointment, so I thought it would be a great chance to finally catch the new Macross movie! Plus, in the same area, Namja town was holding a big Macross fair! (thanks Adrian!)

Well...to be honest, the movie wasn't that great. It wasn't that bad, and it was emotional at parts, but I don't really care anything for the fighting scenes in Macross, and I thought that the clothing designs were beyond hideous... ^^;;;; but I enjoyed it nonetheless ^^

The event too... I guess it was about the same. I went after lunch but before the movie, so I wasn't hungry... but aside from some goods, the event just was basically Macross-themed food! I kinda figured it would be, but went anyways...^^ So anyways, I took some pictures here:

Namja Town's haunted-neighborhood type place:

If you look closely you can see me...

It's really dark inside..

Here are the desserts.. ^^ I actually didn't eat any, lol.

Some special goods in a crane machine. =3

(See what I mean by hideous designs, lol? But Ranka and Cheryl are ♥)

I'm not sure what there goods were..... The smaller ones seemed like can-badges.... but the big ones??? SO HUGE!

Ranka x Valkyrie. (Can't they just cut all of the mecha out of Macross F? Then it would be an awesome show! Maybe one of the best!)

Wonder who Ranka is getting married to... Cheryl is pretty obvious :)

Me! (j/k)

You can't see the pink nipples in this picture.. but they're there! (These are pudding cups, btw)

Does anybody know what these are from? I thought they were just more ugly creations, but I think they areactually from tv or something...???

In other news, we had a really strong earthquake the other night. It was at 11:30, right as I was getting sleepy and thinking of going to bed. But suddenly my early-warning app went off (four times!) and the world turned upside-down again! Actually... it wasn't so bad, but I wasn't tired at all afterwards, and I didn't get to sleep until about three in the morning. ^^;; This is what it looks like on a map: Clicky clicky!

So... more meme?

Day 01: 10 things about you
Day 02: 10 things you love
Day 03: 10 things you hate
Day 04: 10 things you want to say to one person
Day 05: 10 wishes

Day 06: 10 items you can’t live without
Day 07: 10 important people
Day 08: 10 of your favorite songs
Day 09: 10 ways to win your heart
Day 10: Final 10 words.

(I am assuming that things like food/shelter/loved ones/birth control are already included ^^;)

1. My iphone!! Of course a working connection has to be included with this to make it worthwhile. But seriously, having an iphone has sort of changed my life. I can't imagine ever going back to using a phone that doesn't do.. well, nearly everything! ^^;; I would feel lost without it, and the few times that it temporarily became unusable (ran out of battery, bsod, etc), I started to panic ^^; I suppose I wouldn't need a train times app if I was on a desert island, but here it's absolutely essential. I could even update livejournal from it, though I don't since the posts wouldn't be all pretty any sparkly! ^-^;;;;;;;

2. My computer... Well, not mine specifically. Neither the laptop that I'm using now (just a netbook), or the computer hooked up to the tv (mainly to watch movies/tv shows/anime/whatever) are very strong. So I'd like new ones! I'll eventually build them when I have the money... but in some way, a computer that is mine to use freely is essential to my life as I want to live it, anyways =^^=)

3. Same goes for the TV. Because it's basically my monitor, really. I like tv a lot, though how much I actually sit down and watch it (especially paying attention to it) can really vary)

4. A digital camera of some sort. Must have!!! I mainly use the one on my iphone these days, but I will replace it with a nice one eventually. (again, money, lol... who says money doesn't make the world go round? Meh, but I would take broke and in love over getting together with someone or taking a job just for the money any day!)

5. Paper and writing utensils. I want to be able to write/draw, no matter where I am!

6. Books. Any books, just something to read!

7. Refrigerator, microwave, blender, oven, heater, a/c. I have tried living without all of these, and I need them all :3 For the best life, anyways!!

8. I'm running out of things.. I suppose that a toilet is good to have! Also a private shower/bath. :3

9. Makeup!!! How could I not list this Well, concealer is the only thing that I can't live without, but I do like the rest ^^ This includes moisturizers and hair care products including dye as well, and nails. Everything except the concealer is dispensable, but I don't want to live without them. ^^;; Funny thing is, I'm not high-maintenance at all! But putting this out there makes it sound like it.. OH! And of course, clothes are included. Must have something to wear that is appropriate-ish for the weather... at the very least.

10. YOU!!! And by you I mean anyone who reads this. ^^ Why write a blog if nobody is going to read it? (comments, I love comments!!!)

I'm wondering.. What is it that you think you can't live without? Interesting or creative responses might get something fun! =^^=

Wow, it sure is pouring! And windy. The wind is so violent today that my apartment won't stop shaking..

Wonderful pictures! Thanks for sharing :D

Well, I can't live without CLOTHES. Can't imagine walking around naked or surviving winter without it. XD

It's nice to be needed!

I also feel odd if I leave the house without a camera. I don't take pictures every day by any means, but I'm never sad that I brought it along when an awesome picuture opportunity presents itself.

Yeah, I used to carry around a little digicam EVERYWHERE. But it broke.. really, I use them so much that they only last about 2 years at the most.. x.x; It's time to buy a new one!

I know the one big thing for me is my dog I would be horribly lost without him. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=46742&id=100000549573763.

Me I am a fan of mecha, so I usually I will watch something that has mecha in it even it the story line it bad.

And as some one else mention I wish they had festivals like the ones they are over there.

I don't know how I existed without my friends Alayna, Michael, and Kayla. I certainly can't keep going without having them in my life. Genuine friends are hard to come back, and I want to keep them--selfishly speaking--for as long as I can.

Come BY, not back. Ugh. I need to sleep. =_= [ Crawled under her bed and hid. ]

Ahhh, when I heard about the 7.5 earthquake, I freaked! I'm glad you're OK.
Things I can't live without? Hm... I'm not a settled enough person, but I can't live without books. Or cheese. I'm really fond of those things.

I can't live without...
my books, definitely, all of them or any types out there~ I have pretty much my own personal library by this point in time @_@

AND

my baking supplies! Now that I know how to cook and bake, I don't think I can imagine life without being able to make my own yummy foods~ plus it's one of the easiest ways to say "I love you!" to a person *^- ^*

MacrossF withour Mecha? Then it would be just another love trinagle slice of life show... do we really need more of those? This is in space, with plans within plans, and so many many complications... heh essentially it has something to appeal to everyone... I am jealous you can just go out and see it though...

hmmm, can't live without. you know, you can live without most things at any given time, but as the duration increases, it becomes harder... I could live without my car, but my life would be harder. My phone is convenient, but I was raised at a time when only rich people had cell phones, soI could get by without...Stuff like that... I can't think of anything really once you get beyond basics like food and clothing...

I probably couldn't survive without my computer for very long... Last year, my computer broke and it was a nightmare waiting for a new one.
I'd also have to say music... Nothing in particular, just something to listen to while waiting for the bus, etc. Oooh! And books too! I always make sure that I always have at least one book in my bag whenever I go out, just in case. Actually, your list is pretty much mine as well ^^; Especially about drawing; whenever I feel bored, I doodle on a piece of a paper...

I got it! Sorry I didn't reply yet, but I've been so busy this week... x.x;;

I saw what you're talking about! I have been to Namja town more times than I can count, but never noticed it, lol. Probably because it's a separate cost to get the massages ;o;

By the way, this is the place that I was talking about. If you like spas, you might like this! http://www.yunessun.com/english/yunessun.html
They are sometimes too full of kids to make it relaxing (ugh), but if you hit it on the right day, it's wonderful!!

Namja Town huh?
Did you by chance happen to stumble across the 30 minutes of precious lifetime I lost there? =/

Things I cannot live without... banana milk and oxygen I guess.

Oh and I was wondering. I've moved to Japan on March 23rd (^^)v and I'll be going to Tokyo during Golden Week with my friend and was thinking of meeting you there (and like to haha) if that's possible? (^^) Are you by any chance free between April 29th and May 5th?

Ah sorry, one more thing ;x; I don't know if you remember but I was the one who asked the question about jobs in Japan XD;
