I should be sleeping...
Hello, my lovely lj!! How I have missed thee <3 I haven't written for a while, and while I'd like to say that it's by personal choice (wait.. why?), actually it's just because I've been too busy. Mainly with work, though I did manage to sneak in seeing friends. ^-^ But I've been exhausted nearly every day with extra-long commutes and extra-early get-up times. So when I did manage to get home, there was just enough time to make dinner, take a shower, and get to bed most days. I really don't like those sorts of days, it kind of feels like a waste of existence. If I was doing something that I loved as work, I'm sure that it would feel different. But I feel more and more like this has to stop. Well, aside from work...

Last Sunday (????) I went out with Eda and Erin. I think. Or was that Saturday? Argh, I can't remember! But at some point I picked up Bleach musical tickets (fun! No wait, that was last week...). Now I really can't remember. I do know that I went to Costco on Monday with Eda and Valentin. Oh Costco, how I love thee ♥ It's really comforting to go there-- sure, there are a lot more japanese foods or just asian foods in general here, but walking into it is like walking back into a Costco in America. It's very nostalgic. And I can't complain about the abundance of asian foods when it includes annin-dofu in bulk, now can I? I think that one day, I could live in annin-dofu alone. ♥♥

Tuesday I wasted time after work in Kinokuniya in Shinjuku. I was looking for a book that I couldn't remember the name of (actually, two..), but I wasn't able to find them and went home to collapse (and do I don't remember what) later on... Wednesday, I went out to meet Eda after work for.. argh, what is wrong with my memory?? Oh yeah, we went to a store called O1 Model ("Marui Model".. it's a japanese joke, sorta..), which I've been told repeatedly has clothes aplenty for tall women, and upon looking at the site displays a prominence for large women. So, we were excited!! As Eda is not tall, she found a really great shirt, but everyone lied and there actually is nothing for tall women there. Woe is me. It's getting cold and I'm not sure what to do (3rd winter in Tokyo's a charm, right?) about warm stuff when I'm extra-long.. ^_^; Aheh.

Well..! Thursday was a looong work day, and then Friday after work I went to see Greg again and have some drinks. I had a great time, it's always so much fun hanging out with him! He introduced me to a French-by-way-of-Laos art-student friend, Sompras, who had just arrived in Japan, and asked me to take care of him since he lives in Mitaka. He's really sweet, so I'm happy to have another artistic friend nearby. He should be fun to hang out with~ ^-^ I caught up a little bit with a few other people at the bar that I haven't seen in a long time too, and we had a mad dash at the end of the night (About 1 am) to catch a taxi to a station that hadn't already closed for the night. We ended up making it halfway to Mitaka on that train and had to catch a taxi (oh my... what an adventure that was!!) the rest of the way. Got home about 2:30 am, and woke up at 8 to remember just why I don't stay up all night.. makes me so tired the next day that I don't want to do anything!! I did make it out this morning though, to pick up a free microwave (yey!) from Erin's coworker, and then out to meet Lindsay (starrbeam) and hang out in Kichijoji. Next time, karaoke ne!

Even though I have been really exhausted by constant running-around, I've actually been in a really good mood. Talking with some people this week, I've thought a lot about things I want to do in the next year, and how to put that plan into effect. I will write about it soon, I promise, as soon as I have a chance to think things through a little farther.

I've also suddenly decided that I want to learn the Shamisen. I'll have to ask Kat about her teacher... I've also been meaning to start Taiko lessons one of these days. Well... that will have to come as long as I survive Paragliding tomorrow! I finally looked at the website of the school that we're going to, and I realized that it didn't occur to me that it would be so.. high up. Am I going to die? *big eyes*

PS: Dumbledore is gay?! I have to say, I'm very impressed with Mrs. Rowling!! *hearts*

I'm glad to hear from you. You seem to be about as busy as I am. Cosco in Japan?? SWEET! I never saw one when I was over there summer of 2005. But, konikuniya's are awesome! I bought some manga and an artbook from one. I'm still thinking on buying the Kyou Kara Maou and Junni Kokki novels.

Yeah, all of the COSTCOs are really far from the stations, and in the middle of nowhere. Unless you specifically went to find one, you'd probably never see one at all. ^^;

Aww~ That makes me sad and wish I had money to buy you a sweater or something. D:

^_^ Don't worry! Sweaters from the stores are too short for me, so it wouldn't really help.. otherwise I could buy my own!
