Life: -100, Jamie: +1 million!! ... >.>;;
Oh man, today's been an eventful day, in little tiny ways! I managed to get up and make it out to work on time, no problems there.. Even made it to work without feeling too sick (I've been feeling nauseous all the time, the last 6 months or so), had a normal day there. Left to go home, and forgot my umbrella on the train. ;_; It was really cute, too!! Then I got on the wrong connecting train and went in the wrong direction. I got off at the next station, but it would have been better if I hadn't, because I saw a guy whip it out and start peeing on the indoor subway tracks. For a LONG time. Then he was dripping buckets of yellow rain all over the floor and zipped it up (while still dripping on himself). Ewwwwww... I'm never stepping in mysterious wet spots again, EVER, in the subways!!! @.@ Well, someone had left their umbrella in my connecting train, so I scored a (simple) umbrella, yay! It's overcast, so it might rain... But then when I got to my station, someone had STOLEN MY BIKE!! *cries* It was a free bike, but oh man.. a bike is really essential for where I live and now I have to replace it. That's around a hundred dollars that I don't have. ;_; And then while I was walking home, some guy cut in front of me (the sidewalk is wide and deserted), smoking up a storm. I had to detour because he was smelling up the whole sidewalk. The funny thing is that it's illegal to smoke on the streets in our area, and he passed RIGHT by a policeman, who didn't do a thing. I was like.. *facefault* Please to be doing your job, Mr. Policeman! ;__;

Well...... It looks like life was feeling a little bit 'let's play with Jamie, LOL' today! Que sera sera, right? I just wanted to share my little story of woe. Funny though, because you cannot beat me down today! I'm done with work for the day and as such, feel like flyyyyyyying!! (over to the bike shop..) Work over = Good Times. <3

OMG I Love your new(?) pic~!!! You look so cute~!!! <3

I'm sorry, that You lost your cute umbrella, even if you "got" another, not as cute. *ewww* about the guy peeing at the subway XO, that was so gross, I'm never stepping in mysterious wet spots again, EVER, in the subways!!! me neither... And wt~ about your bike @__@ I though that it was a lot more secure over there @__@

But I'm more please to hear that none of that can affect you now and that you are feeling pretty happy too~

I Love you... Take care ♥

New pic? You mean the one with the temple? Thank you! ^o^

Yeah, I had my bike locked up and everything! Which is good, because I still have my keyring at least..... but it boggles me to why anyone would want my bike, when it's really beat-up and the basket is dented. But it was the only one missing, there were plenty of nicer ones left behind, wtf!
Mon☆Monmony_chan on September 10th, 2007 08:22 am (UTC)
Yes, that one ^_~

Then how did they take it? O_O
Well, I would be too... And I was told that it was a "secure" place, because one can leave things in the baskets of bikes outsite supermarkets and that they would be gone, and all... I have been kidded T__T. *is so innocent*

Yes, wth was wrong...

I really hope that you can get another one...
and that your week becomes better~ because You don't deserve bad stuff happening to you~♥

No one stole that bike... did you ask the police officer about it? If you did, I'll shut up... if not, I'm almost certain no one stole it, for the simple reason that no one would be idiotic enough to go through the trouble of stealing THAT bike when there are plenty of better ones to choose from around it.
The place where it was parked, is an illegal parking area. Most of them are from people going to the surrounding shops. You left it there for 7-8 hours... the policeman (the guy who is payed to grab his nutsack all day in a box right next to the station) will sometimes walk around and look at the bikes. Yours will obviously stand out like a sore thumb since it is yellow and has all kinds of characteristic dents...so, if you ask me, it is a lot more likely that the bike was impounded... unless of course you asked that same cop, if you did, I retract everything that I wrote... but if you didn't, go and ask him tomorrow... the odds are pretty good that you'll be able to find your bike.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 10th, 2007 10:01 pm (UTC)
I didn't ask, but I'm not going to pay more than the bike is worth to get it back. I've never ever gotten a notice there before, and there were other bikes there when I parked there (and you're wrong about people parking it there jsut for a while. There's always tons of bikes parked there). If it's illegal, then they should have posted a sign and there isn't any where I parked it.

Awww, you totally don't deserve all that bad stuff happening to you! Kawai sou da ne! I'm glad you're not feeling too miffed about it though. "Genki" suits you well ♥

I had four host families when I was in Japan, guess how many umbrellas I lost? Yup, you guessed right, one for each and twice in the third one. Lol.

o__O;; I didn't think it'd be possible to have that happen all in one day - aah I'd be sitting at home crying in a corner after that.

xD;;; but oh god, man peeeing in the subway tracks, I think I'm childish enough to kill myself laughing then be horrifyingly grossed out. And hope you find your bike, that just bites.

I'm glad that the day hasn't dampened your spirits~~~ flying is gooood. Since it was your first day back to work ^^ and all...

I remember someone telling me in Japan that there are only three things Japanese people are likely to steal: bicycles, umbrellas and cats.

.....Don't you have a kitten? Better watch out, that's two out of three so far :)

Wow thats like super gross, was he like a bum or something? I see that sometimes on the subway @_@ but atleast they try to hide it.

Nuuu!! not the bike!! that is like super horrible!!!!

Ah the police...useless everywhere XD
ore-samathesundaywriter on September 10th, 2007 01:08 pm (UTC)
One of those days huh. And that guy in the subway... that's just gross... perhaps he was drunk... it's worse than people spitting on the ground which is already bad enough for me >.>

Glad to see that it didn't bog you down though ^^

You sure your bike wasn't taken away by the policemen? Since you got a warning a while ago, maybe they just checked the number and hauled it off. It's a 3000 yen fine, but it's still better than 10,000.
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 10th, 2007 10:00 pm (UTC)
I don't think so. I mean, it's never been warned there (this is the spot where you park), and there were tons of other bikes there. Mine was the only one missing, and it was in the middle of the day, before they send the truck around to collect them anyway.

*taps* That sounds like a day where one should not have left bed. The bike thing sucks a lot though u_u Well, better days and times will come XD
+babymoss on September 10th, 2007 09:25 pm (UTC)
Aw, that bike was so cute ;____;

On a side-note I find it really weird that the most common things stolen in Tokyo are bikes and umbrellas! ;o)

Hope you post a pic if you get a new bike <3

Oh dear lord. I hope you...well, I hope you can get a new bike that is cheap and perhaps free? :) As for your umbrella, that really sucks. I have my own and I'm happy with it.

sigh I hope you have a fantastic day tomorrow because like, I have an exam tomorrow. Boo!

Hopefully this little bit of news will cheer you up, I don't know if you'll be interested, but the english voice actor for Orihime (from Bleach) is appearing at an upcoming expo here in auckland next month, would you like me to get her autograph and send it out to you, or do you have anything you would like signed? :)
Hi-chan (火ちゃん)hinoai on September 11th, 2007 07:34 am (UTC)
Thank you very much for the offer! ^_^ I'm not really a seiyuu fan though, so it's alright. But let her know that Orihime has a lot of fans out there (even if I don't really like her english voice, but you don't have to say that ^^;).
Glenburning_batsu on September 11th, 2007 08:04 am (UTC)
Not a problem, just thought I'd offer since I knew you were a bit of a bleach fan to some extent :)

*makes note to pick up a orihime or kon plushie at the expo if I see one as a gift :p *

4 day weekend, wooohooo!
Oh that's right, I forgot Monday is a national holiday. Sweet! Sorry to hear about your bike! I didn't think that kind of theft was very common in Japan, but I guess it is. And the peeing on the subway... O_o ... guess I'll get to experience the wonders of the Tokyo subway soon enough.

Enjoy your long weekend! Go sing some karaoke. ^_^
